  • The BEST Location on the Mountain

"This house was perfect for our two families on a ski vacation. The kids could gear up and just walk across the street to ski! The house has the fun style of the era it was built, but all the important details have been upgraded including two new bathrooms. Everything is super comfortable and well thought out from the warm beds to the quality kitchenware and appliances. The king size bed is in the bedroom on the main floor, the queen is in a bedroom below off the game room downstairs. There are also bunkbeds and a trundle in the downstairs bedroom and a daybed with a trundle in the game room (that wasn't totally clear to us in the description above) There are two fireplaces and two tvs, one on main floor and one downstairs. The house is meticulously clean and well cared for and the owners were responsive and kind. Perfection."

  • Very Clean, cozy, well kept, great for dogs, great location

"This cabin worked out quite well. The cabin is larger than it appears in the photos, the deck out back is perfect, the cabin is very clean, the bathroom has been remodeled and is very nice, the gas fire place in the living room warms up quickly, and the location made everything easy. I highly recommend this cabin, especially if you have dogs. The yard is completely fenced and the dogs loved running around. Kathleen is responsive as well, and you can tell she cares about her cabin, and her guests. We will definitely rent this cabin again if we head back to Idyllwild. Just a minor insight about the beds pictured: There is a queen in the master, along with a twin-size trundle bed opposite the foot of the bed. There is a second trundle bed in the living room, behind the sofa. We spent the weekend as two couples, and it worked, but one couple may not be able to share a bed, or you can take advantage of the smaller mattresses and snuggle up real close all weekend (which isn't always a bad thing). The bed room and living room don't have doors (but the bathroom does, don't worry), they are closed off with curtains, so if privacy is a concern, just FYI. Overall, it's a great cabin, so do consider!"

  • Spacious cabin with everything you need

"Very comfortable and roomy with vaulted ceilings. From the deck, there's a gorgeous view and the spa makes it extra special. Some minor details to look out for: the driveway is difficult to get out; the dishwasher is quite loud; the bathroom shower does have a whiny noise to it when turned on; and the fridge leaks water inside so you need a bowl to catch. These are not show stoppers. We would stay there again."

  • Perfect Vacation Home

"This home is beautiful- even better in person. Looks exactly as it does in the photos and has a great view of the lake. My family of 5 enjoyed every moment in the home. We enjoyed cooking in the amazing kitchen as well as BBQing overlooking the view. We loved our family time playing games, relaxing by the lake and our little excursions in the kayaks. The owners were wonderful and very accommodating. We Highly recommend this Lake arrowhead home for your mountain vacation."
