  • Perfect lakeside home for large family reunion!

"Our extended family spent 4th of July weekend at this fabulous lake front home. The home comfortably accommodated grand-parents and 6 families with their children. We brought pack-n-plays for the infants and a high chair, but everything else was already there! The house is very large, with community space galore - a big upstairs living room, dining room and kitchen and also a large rec room one floor down. The balconies overlook the lake, so we had a front row seat for the fantastic Lake Arrowhead Association fireworks display without having to leave the comfort of the home. The kitchen has everything you can ask for, and then some. With so many people, you can imagine we cooked every single meal here. We set up a tee ball diamond on the private beach and had our own little tee ball tournament, and made great use of the kayaks provided by the owners (complete with paddles and life vests for all of us), kayaking over to the lake island (which the kids named “Pirate Island”). But I have to say, the most delightful part of the experience was the gracious and helpful assistance by Bill Erickson. He sent information about the events over the weekend, made suggestions for things to do, offered his assistance any way he could. We heartily recommend this home to anyone looking for a great family getaway in a beautiful setting."

  • BEAUTIFUL, COZY, CABIN FEEL! I would recommend this cabin to everyone

"I loved this cabin! From location to furnishing. I have no complaints about this cabin. It was beautiful comfortable and felt like home. Deidre is amazing. She's very helpful and responsive. She allowed us to rent the day off and had no problem with it. It's a 3 story cabin with plenty of beds, a game room, and toys for the little ones. There are stores in the area as well as restaurants the lake and other attractions like the movies. Overall perfect vacation rental. I have absolutely no complaints. The cabin and the host were amazing!!!"

  • Beautiful, spacious interior

"The beautiful color of the interior wood makes for a real fun , uplifting home away from home. Some log cabins can be a bit dark and down. Not this one. Also has lots of room... everywhere. The fenced in back yard was a real bonus, since we had 3 boys under 4 years old with us. It let Mom have some time with them outside without holding their hands every moment. We brought an inflatable pool for the backyard and they loved it. (Mom found that time "almost relaxing" for her...with 3 boys that's as close as it gets!) This is our second cabin up here, and we all preferred this one. We're making our yearly summer stay in Big Bear a family tradition and look forward to coming back here. The boys already call this "Our Mountain House!". Everything mentioned in the description and reviews proved to be just as good and true as stated, so I won't go over each detail. We like going to the zoo every year and this time tried the little gold panning / dinosaur/ geode shop just past the Village, heading towards Rim of the World. Great activity for the little guys. We all loved this cabin and would recommend it to friends (once I'm sure they don't want to try to schedule for "our" week! ). It was a great fit for us."
