  • It was an amazing weekend! Loved it!

"I was absolutely pleased with the cabin! It was super clean, spacious and had everything we could possibly need during our stay! It was close to all major stores, gas stations, and liquor stores. It was really close to the lake and the arcades and was so fun for our family specially my children! I would definitely rent from this owner again! My family and friends enjoyed our stay and needless to say the cabin was beautiful! Thank you!!"

  • Very Clean, cozy, well kept, great for dogs, great location

"This cabin worked out quite well. The cabin is larger than it appears in the photos, the deck out back is perfect, the cabin is very clean, the bathroom has been remodeled and is very nice, the gas fire place in the living room warms up quickly, and the location made everything easy. I highly recommend this cabin, especially if you have dogs. The yard is completely fenced and the dogs loved running around. Kathleen is responsive as well, and you can tell she cares about her cabin, and her guests. We will definitely rent this cabin again if we head back to Idyllwild. Just a minor insight about the beds pictured: There is a queen in the master, along with a twin-size trundle bed opposite the foot of the bed. There is a second trundle bed in the living room, behind the sofa. We spent the weekend as two couples, and it worked, but one couple may not be able to share a bed, or you can take advantage of the smaller mattresses and snuggle up real close all weekend (which isn't always a bad thing). The bed room and living room don't have doors (but the bathroom does, don't worry), they are closed off with curtains, so if privacy is a concern, just FYI. Overall, it's a great cabin, so do consider!"

  • We Loved This Great Home

"My family and I had the very best family vacation at Peaceful Pines. It's really beautiful inside and out. We loved all the outside decks and the trees that surrounded us, felt like we were a world away from our busy life at home. The kitchen had all we needed and we made many good meals we enjoyed outside at the pretty large outdoor patio table. The beds are super, good linens and very comfy. We were right across from the lake and went into the lake for our swims, floating and relaxing. The walking trail along the lake is so pretty, we did that every day. It's got a wonderful friendly neighborhood, we felt at home and did not want to leave. Can't wait to be back there this fall for another family getaway. The hot tub was a treat and we had loads of fun playing games, there were so many to pick from, we got really good at the bean bag toss game. Loads of family fun was had. Karen was super friendly, nice and helpful. So glad we found this home."

  • Wonderful cabin in the pines

"Nice get-a-way in the summer, the cabin was clean & comfortable. Great location for touring the area. We enjoyed our stay & John the owner was easy to work with. Got to meet Cristina & her family ( the property manager ) who was very helpful & friendly during our stay. Would love to visit the area again in the winter and would recommend staying at this Big Bear property."
