  • Adorable mountain hide-away with all the extras

"It was so hard to see our time at the Apple Jack cabin come to an end, because it was the perfect place to enjoy a mountain getaway. Things we loved: - Great location near the village (shops &restaurants galore), hiking trails, lake, golf, etc - Easy check-in with key lock-box - So many little extras to make you feel welcome (soft robes for the hot tub, popcorn & chips for movie night, plenty of towels, great selection of kitchen essentials for cooking, fast WiFi, firewood & firestarter) - Spacious (One caveat - it may feel tight if you have a large group. It sleeps at least 6, but there is only 1 bathroom) - Easy parking, quiet neighborhood - Cutely decorated with a mountain/cabin theme - Clean, pre-heated hot tub - Great value...very competitively priced when compared to similar properties In general, the cabin had a very welcoming, cozy feel to it. We loved our time there and will definitely be back!"

  • Great location - Everything you need!

"Pros: Amazing location. I can only imagine renting here during the winter months with it being located at Snow Summit. (Probably 100 yards from the lifts) And if you visit during the offseason (Our Visit) the condo sits right next to a main trail. If your a mountain biker, well just wake up and your there! Snow Sumitt opens all their trails to mountain bikers and hikers during off season. Condo had all we needed 2 bedrooms, 2 full bath, and laundry all located downstairs, with full kitchen (fully stocked with cookware, appliances, silverware, coffee maker ect.), dinning room, family room (two couches, one chair, tv and fireplace) and balconies attached to both the family room and the downstairs master bedroom). Wifi was provided as well as cable tv in every bedroom and family room). It was all perfect for what we needed traveling with a 2 and 4 year old, and two dogs (pet friendly with an addition charge per pet). Cons: I would say it may be time for some upgrades. Lighting was pretty bad in the masterbedroom which is an easy update and the tv is a older large tube tv on a large wall mount. The wall mount is ready for replacement, oddly located right as you walk into the bedroom at shoulder level with me (I'm 6'1") between bed and vanity and very wobbly. I'm sure I'm not the first to have a close call with walking my face into it. We ended up taking it down since it wasn't working anyway (cablebox was not working which we were warned about at rental office at checkin) Overall: Great Visit, Great rental, 5 stars everything we needed and everything we were promised. "TV wasn't a big deal to our family, far too much for us to do outside!" All cons were cosmetic and would easy be fixed."

  • Fantastic place to stay with our family

"We stayed the weekend after Thanksgiving and had an amazing time. There was plenty of room plus some for 2 adults and 5 school age kids. We definitely could have brought more people with us. Very easy to get to, exceptionally well taken care of, fabulous views. Kids loved being able to run around in the yard in the snow. Close to town but why go anywhere, we had everything we needed there. Great relaxing weekend and are definitely looking forward to going back and staying there again!!! Have already recommended this cabin to several people. If it did have one slight flaw is was that the jacuzzi didn't get quite as hot as we would have liked."

  • Family relax getaway

"Perfect location for a cabin. Within walking distance of most restaurants, grocery store and lake access. Can't beat this one for the price! Spent $800 less and one day extra from cabin we rented in Lake Arrowhead the year before. Kids enjoyed ping pong table, hot tub and foosball table, while the adults enjoyed spending the majority of our time hanging out on the giant deck. Perfect getaway from the blistering heat of Coachella Valley and only about 1 hr and 40 minutes away. The inside is very cozy and clean as well for those who liked to be inside. Beds were very comfortable as well. The teen girls enjoyed relaxing in the shaded hammock. Perfect spot to just stay in and relax, or close enough to everything to be out and about. Would recommend to anyone I know to stay here and would definitely stay here again!"
