  • Exactly as Advertised

"VRBO listings can often be misleading, but this was not in the least bit so - in fact, it was exactly as advertised. I was attending a regatta nearby with a group of ten rowers from San Francisco, and Nana's Place was ideal for our purposes. It's position directly on the lakefront allowed us to easily judge conditions every morning before launching boats, and the spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and well-appointed kitchen provided an excellent base for our adventures. One small critique - the top oven does not work and is taped shut, and the bottom oven runs cold. Other than that, though, Nana's Place is great. We will be returning."

  • Great Cabin!

"We stayed at this beautiful cabin for the 4th of July weekend. It was very clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. Great location as well, walking distance to the beach!"

  • Can't wait to comeback!

"This cabin does not disappoint, I highly recommend staying here. My family rented this place for a week and had an amazing time. The cabin itself is located on a private beach one block from downtown Kings Beach and right across from Safeway and Brockway Golf course. This made it easy to walk almost everywhere. This cabin was perfect for my family of 6 as there was plenty of sleeping space and it was super convenient as we could watch our kids play on the sandy beach from the deck. Some waterfront places we have stayed in the past have had rocky beaches which was a pain. The beach in front of this house was great as it was all sandy, so my kids and myself didn't stub our toes. My favorite part of our stay was waking up each morning and sipping my morning coffee on the deck while taking in the incredible 180 degree view of the lake. We cant wait to comeback."

  • Great House!

"We spent the crazy busy week between Christmas and New Years at the Taylor home skiing with another family. We managed to not feel cramped in the 1600 square feet with 10 people! The layout is nice for two families, the bunk room set with old school VHS/DVD player the kids loved. Our 6 kids (13-5) watched classic Disney movies every day and enjoyed their space. We didn't find a foosball for the table, which would have been nice. Everything you could need was in this house, including things we hadn't expected like spices, a crock pot, and LOTS of pots and pans. The key was frozen in the hot tub and the management company very quickly helped us fix the problem. I would suggest some more lighting/replacing light bulbs. It was a little dark at times and the heat was a little spotty. Overall, though, this was a great fit for us for the week! I would stay there again."
