  • Excellent location, lots of space, yet very cozy

"This property is awesome, and I'd definitely recommend it for any large party looking to stay in North Lake Tahoe. The hosts were very very responsive, which I truly appreciated. You can tell that the hosts put lots of effort, time, and care into keeping this property in top shape. Linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen supplies are plentiful. The hot tub is awesome, and the backyard is fenced, which was perfect for us since we brought our dogs. Although the house can accommodate a multitude of guests, the house does not feel crowded. Also, the photos do not do the property justice. The house is much large and more spacious than it appears in photos. This is an excellent location for people looking for a relaxed vacation. It's a 5-minute walk from Safeway and less than a 10-minute walk away from a nearby beach. My friends and I took advantage of the prime location and enjoyed our low key weekend getaway."

  • Cozy Cabin with Great Location

"Our family enjoyed our stay at Deluca's Delight. We appreciate older homes with some character and this fit the bill. The two chefs in the family appreciated the kitchen and cooking utensils. Plenty of beds and baths; however, the two bedrooms upstairs share a bath with only a claw foot tub, no shower. Of course, plenty of baths downstairs but proved difficult for some of us seniors. Owner quickly responsive to requests, couldn't have been nicer. A great stay!"

  • Clean and comfortable

"The property was clean and inviting. Our kids really enjoyed having their own space. The kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils, plates, bowls, pans pots knives coffee maker, etc. You do not need to bring anything. The stove and oven worked quickly. They had plenty of extra towels, blankets, and linen. There were Dvds and board games for the kids. They even had some snow sleds in the garage. The washer and dryer worked well. The heater warmed up quickly. The area was very quiet. It was close to Northstar, Safeway, and the lake. We pulled over on the side of the road nearby to play in the snow (saved about $250 vs going to Northstar) and the kids had a lot of fun and burned off their energy. The town is really small and cozy. We had dinner at local restaurant called Soule Domain and it was nice and cozy( the food wasn't as tasty as I would expect it to be, but the experience was nice). Overall, this was a very nice place to stay especially with kids."

  • Exactly as Advertised

"VRBO listings can often be misleading, but this was not in the least bit so - in fact, it was exactly as advertised. I was attending a regatta nearby with a group of ten rowers from San Francisco, and Nana's Place was ideal for our purposes. It's position directly on the lakefront allowed us to easily judge conditions every morning before launching boats, and the spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and well-appointed kitchen provided an excellent base for our adventures. One small critique - the top oven does not work and is taped shut, and the bottom oven runs cold. Other than that, though, Nana's Place is great. We will be returning."
