  • Fabulous ski chalet at Alpine

"We were absolutely delighted with this lovely ski chalet right on the access road to Alpine. We have been at many different ski condos, homes, and slope side accommodations and this easily ranks as one of our favorites. Everything is perfectly set up for the slopes. Parking directly in front of the house (no slogging tired children in heavy ski boots across a parking lot), roomy ski locker, boot mats, pegs for ski gear, bench to sit down upon in order put on/remove said gear. The home is lovingly appointed with comfy leather couches, soft throws, a beautiful river rock fireplace. There is a high end kitchen with a Sub Zero, Viking range, Kitchen Aid dishwasher. Family meals were a delight on the gorgeous giant table made of reclaimed wood. Jacqueline, the owner, was the consummate hostess. Her prompt replies, warm communications, kind flexibility, and attention to detail made the entire transaction completely hassle free. Thank you!! We can't wait for the privilege to stay again."

  • We loved our stay in this wonderful home!

"We loved our stay in this beautiful mountain retreat over New Year's weekend. The house was everything that we hoped for and much more. We happened to be there during the New Year's snow storm and this home was the perfect place to be caught in a snow storm. We had the fire going (plenty of firewood!) and watched the snow fall through the great windows. The front large window seat was a perfect place to snuggle with a book. The backyard winter wonderland was an amazing place for snow play (sleds were provided). We did get a chance to ski and the house is so conveniently close to Alpine. We have been coming to Tahoe for over 10 years for ski/snow and this is by far our favorite place. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your wonderful home!"

  • Blizzard Bliss

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I couldn't think of a better location to ride out a blizzard with family. Closed roads, avalanches, downed trees, regional power outage, and too much snow to ski. And yet we all had a wonderful time taking in the beauty of it all. Thankfully, the gas fireplace kept us warm and the pool table kept us occupied. There was an emergency box with flashlights and matches that could use some additional supplies like working batteries. Beds were cozy with plenty of blankets and linens and the kitchen was well equipped."

  • Cozy and well-equipped cabin

"We have stayed at this property twice this month and both times it was spotless when we arrived. It is equipped with anything a cook might need to prepare meals, extra sheets and towels, as well as soap, lotion and a hair dryer in the bathrooms. Cindy was incredibly responsive to any questions we had. In addition, the driveway was plowed and shoveled before our arrival after 15 feet of snow in the days before we came. We had planned on having our children (8 and 9) stay in the sleeping loft but it is not suited for children, it would much better accommodate teenagers or adults. This house is a gem!"
