  • perfect tahoe house summer and winter, great location, very clean

"A Great house- We first stayed at this adorable house in the summer and loved it! Super easy to get to the lake and Tahoe City and close to trails. Very sunny and warm house- lots of sunlight. This was our first time staying in the winter and it is super close to Alpine (1/2 mile maybe) and a quick drive to Squaw. The Alpine/Squaw shuttle picks up and drops off 1 house up at the corner- so you don't even have to drive to the slopes. The house is laid out perfectly for 2 families and kids or 1 big family or lots of adults. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of room. Upstairs bedrooms are cozy and quiet and one downstairs bedroom. Beautifully updated and clean bathrooms- 1 full upstairs and 1 full downstairs and the kitchen is updated/clean and has everything you need. Very cozy living area with lots of seating and big dining table. Deck off the living/dining with gas bbq Lots of safe area around the house for playing in the snow, mini sledding You can even walk to Alpine from the house if you aren't skiing. washer, dryer, space for ski's & boots, 3 t.v.'s, gas fireplace in living room. We look forward to lots of winter and summer visit. Also, the owners are so friendly and very helpful."

  • Wonderful Multi-family Snow Weekend!

"This Alpine cabin was just perfect for us. We loved the style and distribution of the rooms: it was perfect for hanging out with 3 families including 5 kids 7 and under. The open top floor had room to play and build pillow/blanket forts, a cozy fireplace and large kitchen to work and play. Everything was there, and yet not too fancy so that we felt really comfortable hanging out with our little guys and gals. The cabin was really well stocked with games - we adults loved puzzling and also played a hilarious game - and books for kids and adults. The extra kids ski clothes and sleds in the bunk room were wonderful, especially in combination with the sledding run built by the neighbors! And the distribution of rooms was great - though we would have liked the kids to all sleep in the bunk bed room instead of ending up in their parents beds ;-) Location was also great: at Alpine Meadows ski resort within 5 minutes and to Tahoe City in 15 minutes to ski and sled at Granlibakken. We had such a good time and really enjoyed the stay. Hopefully we can come back!"

  • Lake Tahoe, Eagles Nest at Alpine Meadows

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was clean. However there were some broken items. These were not too much trouble but should be addressed. The hot tub did work but there were a few things that didn’t work with it. The controls for the flow of air were not working. The base that is around the tub is broke, and is a safety concern with screws and wood exposed that can cause injury. The house could use some attention to the entertainment system. It is very poorly put together. The main upstairs TV had wires hanging out and is another safety issue for any visiting children. I had my grand children there and I kept them away from the exposed wires. The internet was not working. This was a problem. The property management left a hot spot. The cell signal for this was not any good. There were a lot of light bulbs not working in this house as well. I don’t know if this is an electrical issue or not. I was disappointed with the lack of care on these details. Safety is important to me. I’m sure it is to you as well. On a good note: The kitchen was great. It was fully stocked with dishes and cookware. The bedrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were also cleans and very nice. The pool table was OK. Games and other items were available for us to use. That was nice. And the over all the home was good for my family gathering. We enjoyed going to Kings Beach and checking out the local musical entertainment. I am glad I booked the house at Lake Tahoe."

  • Great house to stay in

"This house was perfect for our group of three couples. Although we didn't have much extra space, we never felt too crowded. We liked that the kitchen was pretty open so whoever was cooking could still be a part of the group. We would definitely stay there again!"
