"My family recently wrapped up our 3rd trip to the Rabin Retreat. We just love this place. It's in a great location right across the street from Waterman's landing. We bring up our kayak and paddle board and take those out almost daily. I'm obsessed with summer evenings at the lake just listening to the waves comes in. We've always come up in the summertime and the spa/pool area are great. This year the pool water temp was PERFECT. Our 3 year old son has been calling this place "new house" for quite some time and he loves it too. Walking distance to Garwoods and CBs Pizza & Grill. This condo is 2bed/2ba - perfect for a small to medium size family. David has always been very responsive and accommodating. Hoping to be back again next summer."

  • Charming cabin, great location, well-stocked, lots of perks!

"We had a great time at this cabin. The owners keep the place well-stocked on essentials - -coffee, condiments, cooking spices, even the ice trays were full! This property is not on the water, but it's less than a 5 minute walk away. This has a "cabin in the woods" feel, not a "lake house" feel, and no direct view of the water from the house. That didn't matter to us, but should be kept in mind depending on what kind of experience you're after. The deck was great, with comfortable chairs and lounges, a BBQ grill, propane hibachi, and fire pit that got LOTS of usage. Night time here is beautiful and peaceful, even with a few neighbors who were also enjoying themselves loudly. The owner was very friendly and prompt with communication. We loved it, and will almost definitely stay here again. My only partially negative comment is that the house itself, while beautiful and charming, felt a little smaller than it looked in the pictures. It's cozy, not spacious; so again it just depends on what kind of experience you're looking for."

  • Awesome property!

"Beautifully remodeled home! Extremely well stocked kitchen including a Viking range and awesome grill on the deck. Quite neighborhood. Visited in summer. Walking distance to lake. Great neighborhood for walks or jogging. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

  • Excellent Cabin, lots of room!

"There were some cons about renting this cabin, but majority of them were pros. Cons: We were informed the wrong lockbox code by the property management, so make sure you call in to find out the alternative codes The living room fans don't have switches or anything to turn on. If you do heavy cooking, like bacon in the morning, make sure to open the back sliding door along with the front door. The back stairway to the Hot Tub was extremely slippery, maybe a warning sign should be placed somewhere around there. Pros: Very spacious Living room was big and small enough to have everyone gather around and feel cozy Kitchen was super spacious and nice Rooms were comfortable Property Management made sure we had a good stay Note: The driveway and road was slippery, and some of our cars that weren't 4x4 got stuck. Make sure you have chains. (The cabin provided a shovel and ice melt; which was very helpful) Overall: Nice cabin, warm and cozy."
