  • Labor Day Getaway

"Glad to find this place to spend the Labor Day weekend in Tahoe. Home was super cozy and comfy. Definitely has that Tahoe Cabin appeal. Super dog-friendly, our corgi loved the place and had tons of space to walk around in the morning or before he sleeps at night. Lots of convenience stores (7-11, Safeway) nearby, and cute shops and restaurants surrounding the area as well. The only suggestion we have is to provide a "marker" or more lighting by the entrance of the property so future guests won't have to miss the property especially if they are arriving in the evening. Other than that, we would love to stay here again!"

  • Summer vacation

"We had a spectacular time here. The kids loved the playroom and are hopeful we come back again in winter to enjoy the snow. The cabin is located conviently near several beaches and having use of the kayak and paddle board throuout the trip was defiantly worth it."

  • Repeat Customer

"My family recently wrapped up our 3rd trip to the Rabin Retreat. We just love this place. It's in a great location right across the street from Waterman's landing. We bring up our kayak and paddle board and take those out almost daily. I'm obsessed with summer evenings at the lake just listening to the waves comes in. We've always come up in the summertime and the spa/pool area are great. This year the pool water temp was PERFECT. Our 3 year old son has been calling this place "new house" for quite some time and he loves it too. Walking distance to Garwoods and CBs Pizza & Grill. This condo is 2bed/2ba - perfect for a small to medium size family. David has always been very responsive and accommodating. Hoping to be back again next summer."

  • Grate location, fantasticviews, good amenities. Worth every penny!

"You certainly get what you pay for. SO what do you get? Exterior: -- North lake views from the master bedroom, living room, dining room and rumpus room. Forrest views from every other room. A pretty spacious deck with a gorgeous view. A hottub and BBQ on deck. We couldn't figure out how to get the exterior speakers working, but they're on the deck if the property owner ever wants to write up how to use them, that'd be awesome. Interior: -- Living room: - Basic directTV and basic internet / wifi access. Not fast (Email? Yes. Netflix, likely not) Decent surround sound system and Samsung flat screen TV. No terrestrial broadcast access, though, so if you're looking to catch a sports game, you're likely SOL w/ the basic DTV package and no broadcast access. A pool table and fireplace with convection fan... fantastic for heating the place up Plenty of uber comfortable couches / pillows / blankets. Dining / Kitchen: - Big dining table, seats many folks.... comfortably. A reasonably well stocked kitchen (linens, serving dishes, cooking instruments) Misc. Cooking spices / condiments donated by prior guests. A reasonably well stocked bar (Just like with the kitchen it's 100% donations / leftovers stocked, so if you find that you've still got 1/2 handle when you check out, please donate it!). Large island with it's own small sink and disposal (although, ours was mechanically broken; may be fixed when you read this... you can always use the main one on the main sink, too) If you're cooking for a group, you'll find that you're washing the same pots / pans frequently for each new dish. **beautiful** oven (with convection!) range top and a pretty powerful (read: quick, quiet and big) dishwasher that made cleaning up much easier. Bedrooms / Bathrooms - There are many, they're all quite nice. Comfortable blankets and linens. Plenty of towels (you'll be surprised how fast you go through them w/ the hot tub ...etc) Washer and Dryer are right off the kitchen, so it's easy to dry / warm / fluff your towel - Toilet paper did get scarce towards the end of of our trip. no obvious location where more was stored. -- A few other notes: Bit hard to spot at night. We did wonder aimlessly through a few neighboring driveways until finding it. The next morning, though, it was really clear what we did. Driveway may give your car trouble if wet or slippery... but this is something you should already know before coming to Tahoe! Will attempt to book again!"
