  • Cozy and quiet

"This is our second visit to this exact unit. For us it's all about north shore location and this is a great hideaway for a quiet and relaxing getaway, especially during the offseason. The decor may not be modern, but it was cozy, comfortable and quiet which is what matter most to us. The accommodations were great and the only thing they didn't have supplied was laundry soap to allow us to bedding laundry as we left. Otherwise, it was a perfect visit. Only minutes from King's Beach and all of our favorite North Shore hangouts. There was even a challenging par course down the road which made for a great workout. Will definitely visit again."

  • Stay at Olive Branch

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Delightful house, great location, would definitely stay here again Some issues should be noted--in master bath sink and shower fixtures loose or not easily used. I have stayed in many rentals over the years and this was by far lacking even the basic salt/pepper, olive oil, sugar, etc. Don't expect food to be provided but this was like a model home lacking any basics of habitation. Having such in one cupboard with a note or something would be a nice touch. Finally, the huge pine tree across the narrow street comes up on a driver backing up very fast....maybe more reflectors?"

  • Excellent Stay in a Great Location

"We stayed at this house for the Spartan Race World Championship Weekend which was held at Squaw Valley. It was close to that and is within walking distance of Lake Tahoe! The property had a hot tub on the deck which made it very convenient for us! There was plenty of sleeping space for our larger group. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner while at the house. The fridge was also very big and had space for 3 days worth of food and still room for more. Even though this is an older property, it is kept up very well and has several updates to it. I would highly recommend to anyone!"

  • Charming cabin, great location, well-stocked, lots of perks!

"We had a great time at this cabin. The owners keep the place well-stocked on essentials - -coffee, condiments, cooking spices, even the ice trays were full! This property is not on the water, but it's less than a 5 minute walk away. This has a "cabin in the woods" feel, not a "lake house" feel, and no direct view of the water from the house. That didn't matter to us, but should be kept in mind depending on what kind of experience you're after. The deck was great, with comfortable chairs and lounges, a BBQ grill, propane hibachi, and fire pit that got LOTS of usage. Night time here is beautiful and peaceful, even with a few neighbors who were also enjoying themselves loudly. The owner was very friendly and prompt with communication. We loved it, and will almost definitely stay here again. My only partially negative comment is that the house itself, while beautiful and charming, felt a little smaller than it looked in the pictures. It's cozy, not spacious; so again it just depends on what kind of experience you're looking for."
