  • Amazing Stay

"My kids, husband and mom stayed at this magical place this weekend and it is truly special. Three full bathrooms and three bedrooms is wonderful. Ground floor unit is great for kids, the location is unreal. I am logging on to see if I can book for next year! Mom and I didn't ski and we never left the Village and still had a great time. The best part about the location is when I forgot my son's tickets for ski school and it took me all of 10 minutes to walk back and get them and return (while he sat and waited for me). If Northstar is your mountain-it doesn't get much better than this!"

  • Clean and convenient

"We had a very pleasant stay in this condo. Super convenient location for skiing in/out or taking the shuttle down to the village. There's a handy locker for skis. Inside was clean with a nicely remodeled kitchen and bath. It's a fairly cozy space for a family of 4, but worked just fine for us with the one bedroom and the trundle bed that created 2 separate beds for the kids. I'm picky about beds, and finally found a decent bed in a Tahoe rental that didn't cause back pain! There was no phone in the unit as far as I know, so use your cell phone (not a problem for us). Pass to the community center included. We didn't use it, but it's nice to have that option. Parking spaces are first come, first served, so you may have a shorter or longer walk in the snow, depending on what is open. Kitchen was well-stocked. Maybe just add scissors and paper/pens, and we'd have everything needed. Jason was the most responsive rental owner I've ever encountered. I texted him about a couple of minor questions or issues, and he responded right away. Super helpful! I'd definitely rent this unit again."

  • Beautiful Place for a family get-together!

"The house was beautiful and very clean. The bedrooms were spacious with mostly attached bathrooms. Couldn't be happier with the accommodations. Loved the fridge, and 2 extra beer fridge drawers!! Lots of commonly used spices to cook with were supplied. In fact, the kitchen was so well supplied with every appliance imaginable that we opted to cook dinners at the condo instead of fighting the traffic and the crowds to get back into Truckee. (However, a few more directions on how to work everything would of been helpful! The lights were a pain. Never used the Master Jacuzzi because we couldn't stop up the drain, etc. Also, we could never get the fire pit to work, so we didn't get to use our s'more supplies.) We were determined to get a ski-in and ski out house because of the different level of skiers/snowboarders with us. But, when we were there, they had just had 8 FEET of snow. I know what rats in a maze feel like now, because getting to the front door was like walking through a snow maze with 8 foot walls!! So, I couldn't really tell you if the house was truly ski in, ski-out because all the trails and cutoffs were covered in snow drifts. There were no maps or clues in the house as to WHERE those cut-offs would be...other than a trail map of the mountain. But, drove my skiiers up to the Gondola at the Ritz and dropped the skiers off there. It wasn't crowded at all and I my skiers just called when they were ready tobe picked up. I would tell you what the names of the roads were, but all of the road signs were buried...except for the Ritz Hotel sign. Amazingly, the driveway was completely cleared of snow and they even had people on the roof knocking down the extra snow! I had just had knee surgery a few weeks before and was excited about the outdoor pool that was available at the Tree House. (Note, this is in the opposite direction of the the Ritz.) They did provide a decent map of how to get there, but not what the key code was if no one was there to let you in. They had some passcards that were outdated. It was marvelous to swim laps in a warm outdoor pool while waving at the people going by in the Gondola!! Unfortunately, the pool heater quit overnight and I only got to use it the first day. Overall, it is a great place!. Other condos in the same area have a far better view. Ours just had a view of the trees and LOTS of snow. The condos that were on the next tier down had a view of the ski run"

  • Perfect Family Ski Getaway

"This condo was perfect for my family of four (two boys ages 13 and 11). My boys slept in the downstairs bedroom which has a bunk bed. There was a full bathroom for them. My husband and I had the bedroom upstairs which had a queen bed and a full bathroom. Plenty of bath towels and toiletries (shampoo, soap and lotion). There was a full kitchen, but we hardly cooked since we were within walking distance to the Village. We also took the gondola to The Ritz and had dinner at Manzanita Grill. Nice large tv in the family room and tv's in both bedrooms. We stored our skis and snowboard in the ski locker. We took a short walk to the ski trail, popped on our skis and skiid down to the gondola or lift. This unit is on the second level, so there are stairs, but nothing that we couldn't handle. Would definitely come back!"
