  • Wonderful Stay, Close to Everything...

"My family of 5 stayed here between Christmas and New Years', and we had such a great time. We had plenty of space, and enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen for making our meals at home. Safeway is less than a mile away. This condo is quiet and peaceful (lovely fires in the fireplace, lots of space to do jigsaw puzzles and read) but near everything we wanted to do. Northstar is nearby, and was great for skiing. The kids loved the zip line park and went there twice. The owner, Gail, is so helpful and professional in all of her communications, and has thought of every detail to make this feel like a 'home away from home'. This vacation rental is a fantastic value, and we can't wait to return!"

  • Charming Condo!

"We stayed here a week in July and had a wonderful time! This cozy condo has great Lake Tahoe decorations. Butler Bear put a smile on our faces every time we saw him. The condo was spotlessly clean and easy to find. The kitchen is lovely. We grilled out on the deck most nights and stayed out there to play games. The complex felt very private. We had the beautifully landscaped pool to ourselves a few times. The few people we did see were very friendly. Lake Forest is a perfect location--about a five minute drive to Tahoe City, where we had breakfast and rented bikes. It's about a half hour beautiful drive to many day outings. We hiked around the Emerald Bay Area, went stand up paddle boarding, and hiked up Mt. Tallac. We also rented bikes in town and rode along the new bike trail."
