  • Very nice unit.

"Owner was responsive to issues that occurred while staying over the 4th of July Holiday. Beware, the unit is on the side of the complex that faces a parking lot and noisy delivery trucks come very early in the morning. Our biggest disappointment was the Televisions/cable were not in HD, something we have at home. Also the Refrigerator is very, very noisy. The furniture is clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and is King size. The village was very quiet for the 4th of July and that was just what we were hoping for."

  • Spacious! Great location to ski Squaw/Alpine.

"Very roomy. The beds and couches easily fit our group of seven adults. Good sound system, huge (communal) hot tub a few steps away, plenty of parking, close enough to the town for additional supply runs. Would stay here again."

  • Powder Moon is a very special home

"What a beautiful home! Powder Moon is not your typical vacation rental home. This home is full of interesting artifacts, masks, tapestries, and artwork that must have taken Mike and Debbie years and many trips to several countries to collect. What treasures! The beds were very comfortable with fine linens. The bathrooms are spacious and luxurious. The house is clean and well-maintained. The kitchen is to die for. I hope to have a kitchen like theirs someday. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. It is a great house to just hang-out, relax with friends and enjoy good food and wine. I attended a Wilderness Medicine conference at the Resort at Squaw Creek, just 2 minutes drive away. My husband and friends had a great time mountain biking and hiking. Our golden retriever LOVED swimming in Lake Tahoe and exploring the rivers. Squaw Creek village is nearby, providing a dog-friendly atmosphere, great live music, good restaurants. Hot tip for a romantic restaurant on Lake Tahoe: Christy Hill (per our friends). I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends."
