  • Great base for Lake Tahoe stay!

"Very comfortable, clean, and well equipped cabin which was perfect for our stay at Lake Tahoe. Situated in a peaceful residential area, it is just a short walk to lake shore, great deli and a handful of decent restaurants. Good trails nearby and plenty of attractions to keep everyone occupied. Clear communications from owners and easy to book. We would not hesitate to recommend the cabin to anyone looking for comfort and good value at Lake Tahoe."

  • Home from Home

"If you are looking for somewhere for the family this Summer Vacation this is the place. Plenty of room for everybody to have a separate bedroom and bathroom! Fully equipped Kitchen with addition of outside BBQ. Homely environment whether relaxing inside on the sofas or outside on the deck drinking wine and looking out to the meadow. A stones throw from the property are two beautiful pools - one for the kids to get rid of all that energy and an adult pool for a quiet read followed by the hot tub. Lovely tennis courts if you had a racquet and ball. A short stroll from the property is a lovely Cakery and it's a little further to the beach and waters edge where you can sit and watch the sun go down and the stars come out. Heaven - just wish we lived nearer. The Townhouse is very Close to Tahoe City which has a lovely marina and restaurants plenty of shops and a small waters edge park. There was a farmers market while we were there. You can cycle from the house along the cycle trail. The property was clean, well equipped in every aspect. Patty was very helpful prior to our trip over from the UK and everything was left as we had agreed. Lake Tahoe is a beautiful destination - Emerald Bay was our favourite day trip. We had a great stay and hope to return again some day."

  • The cabin is charming, clean, comfortable, and has a beautiful view of the lake.

"My husband and I will rent here again. I almost hesitate to give such a glowing review because I would rather keep this place to ourselves. The owner was so accommodating and professional, however, and we had such a great time, that I just have to tell the truth. Mark keeps in touch before arrival, has a binder with all information you could possibly need upon arrival, and clear directions for how to use everything! Every bedroom has its own television, and the living room has a huge TV. With every cable channel you could want. But the view will keep you from the tv. The cabin is just as described. The pictures are accurate. It is over-stocked with bath, hand and wash towels, kitchen towels. Lots of nice hot water for cooking, and bathing. The kitchen has everything you could need for cooking. The lake view is just lovely and can be seen from the kitchen, living room, and downstairs bedroom. We walked to the HOA beach almost every day. It's less than a mile. It's a beautiful walk although you do cross Lake Blvd. There are plenty of "good breaks" for crossing. The cabin is also close to the Sunnyside. We walked to a few lazy breakfasts at the Firesign, some lattes and cinnamon rolls at Westshore Market, and to mass at Corpus Christi. As empty-nesters, we invited our grown kids and grand-baby-infants to join us.They all had a great time. We feel that the time spent together here was priceless. I think we took advantage of all the cabin had to offer. Hot tubbing under the stars, BBQ's on the deck with cold beers and wine, coffee in the morning on the deck, poker nights in the kitchen...we only wish it had gotten cold enough for a fire in the REAL WOOD fireplace. Each room was nicely decorated, and CLEAN. This cabin is our idea of the right blend between modern convenience and classicTahoe Charm."
