  • Great Place good location

"I was here for my daughter's wedding in squaw valley which was 10 min away. Tahoe city was with in walking distance, everyone loved the place. Only when we wanted to watch Football the TV was a problem. The Internet TV was in and out was not reliable. there is no stereo as told in description if you wanted to listen to music it went through the TV speakers. The kitchen was Great for cooking and socializing. I would come back ,but get cable or dish would help."

  • Comfortable and convenient

"Thanks for a great stay. The property is very comfortably set up with lots of beds. Has tons of toys, games, sleds - very kid friendly! Location is very convenient to numerous ski resorts. We had a great time and would love to come back again."

  • Beautiful but noisy

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is gorgeous, with a particularly beautiful kitchen and master bathroom. However, it's right on Hwy 89, which means it's quite noisy. Cal Trans happened to be doing some work right outside the house every night we were there, all night. Even without that, though, you would hear the cars going by, all day and night. But overall, a very nice place, close to the lake and several good restaurants."

  • Perfect stay for my girls and I

"My two girls and I stayed in the Chalet both during the summer and in the winter. In the summer we had an absolute blast. The house is centrally located close to town, easy to get to the grocery store, an awesome coffee shop down the street as well as simple access to a bike/running path. As an endurance athlete, I was able to do long runs and rides around the lake right from the house, as well as ride bikes with the kids to and from breakfast, town, beach and Squaw! In addition, we were able to take the dog to the river every morning and evening for some activity which made for a happy dog! The accommodations are comfortable and the house is stocked with whatever you may need to cook or bake. In the winter, it was an easy drive to Alpine or Squaw and a cozy place to come back to at the end of the day! Kids were able to play in the snow in the yard and come in for hot cocoa. The owners are very responsible and responsive, I would go back again and again!"
