  • Great cabin.

"The cabin was exactly what we expected when we arrived the cabin was warm and ready to go. The location was easy to get to and it has a nice large lot. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to rent this cabin again. Kim was very good and made the process simple."

  • Wonderful Stay!

"We stayed here over the 4th and had a really nice time. The location is perfect; close to Lake Donner, I-80, and Safeway while also secluded in a wooded development. Patrick & Mary are very thoughtful hosts and were responsive and helpful with their tips and suggestions. The hot tub and grill were big perks! The VRBO info has various check-in and check-out times depending on where you look, so recommend double-checking if you rent the property. Overall a great stay!"

  • Beautiful Property

"Gorgeous house on a beautiful property with amazing views. The reservation process leading up to the stay was seamless and the property manager was very communicative. The pictures of the house are very accurate. We especially appreciated Nancy, the cleaning supervisor, who was very communicative, knowledgeable and helpful. The house was very clean and well stocked for the most part. There were a couple of broken things (e.g. dishwasher), but Nancy came quickly to make sure they were fixed. My family and I would definitely rent this again! The only downsides to this house in the summer are (1) There is no central AC, only ceiling fans. It was extremely hot, especially on the fourth floor, where there are two very small bedrooms and a pull out; and (2) Although the four decks offered amazing views, it was infested with bees all day so it was extremely difficult to even sit outside without bees swarming you. Also, the house sleeps 30 if you utilize each and every pull-out. We had 10 kids so it wasn't difficult to make the sleeping arrangements work, but if you have 30 adults, a good handful of people will be pretty uncomfortable sleeping at night."

  • Great spot for a crew, beautiful vista's, responsive host

"Vladimir was very helpful and this is a good spot to bring a bunch of people together. When it says it sleeps 40, that's with every queen/king bed having double occupancy, and most rooms would have multiple beds per room full of couples so take that into consideration when planning. I mean, if you are planning a swinger's party like the house next door was while we were there, that's probably ideal. We had a bachelor party, but it wasn't weird at all because we had only about 26 guys, and didn't all try to cram into the hot tub, steam or dry sauna's all at once (which a swingers party might attempt, but i'm totally throwing darts here i've never been invited to one... hint if you are reading this!). Anywhoo.... It's right on the mountain if you are there during ski season (or just a couple minutes drive or walk anyway). Worth it if you're looking for a place to host in the Truckee region."
