  • Great North Shore location and roomy for a large group

"We had several family members come in from out of state and wanted a large vacation home to accommodate 11 adults and 1 child. There was plenty of sleeping room for all of us, and the kitchen living room was a perfect gathering place for meals. The instructions to open the home and take advantage of all the amenities, including the hot tub, were spot on. We only spent 4 nights and everyone was sad to leave. We would have rated our stay 5 stars but the steep stairs to access all the levels was a little difficult for our older guests to manage. Other than that, the property had everything we needed to make our Tahoe vacation perfect. Thank you Paola Dozzo for making our first VRBO rental stress free!!"

  • Our Family Vacation

"This was our second visit to Sandy's properties. We stayed a month prior with friends at another one of her near by properties. I would give her a 5 star for customer service since she and her staff addressed every need that we had and went the extra nine yards to ensure our comfort. Our family of 10 loved our stay at this comfortable home. From the spacious spa, especially after long hikes, to the numerous bedrooms, this house had more than ample space. I can't forget to mention the very nice pool table that got plenty of use. We especially enjoyed the views from the paneled windows in the living area and the large deck overlooking the tree lined landscape. One morning we simply walked down our street and hiked the Tahoe Rim Trail. We all agreed, this was a perfect location for shopping, golfing, hiking, biking, kayaking and just kicking back."

  • Nice Older House Near Many Amenities

"Our first visit to Tahoe we packed the house with 10 people (including 4 kids!). We had a wonderful time but I'd like to point out a few things I was unaware of until I had the address and could google street view the location. It faces a VERY busy highway. In fact the only highway that goes all the way around Tahoe so traffic noise never stops. This isn't the place to stay if you want peace and quiet or think you can let you children lose in the yard to do as they please. The kids on our stay all listened very well and the good news is the deck that faces the highway has a gate so we pretty much just shut it and expected everyone to stay put or explore the small backyard. The house felt spacious even with all 10 of us. We even had a Father's Day brunch and invited a few more people over and it all worked out great! The price is very reasonable for what you get and as stated above it is close to EVERYTHING. The property manager gets 5 stars on her own! She's amazing! Have a question? She texts right back. Have a power outage due to a downed tree? She's calling the power company. She's great and I hope they always keep her on! The hot tub was great and the private pier is very cool but it is metal grate so watch your step. The washing machine on our stay was having issues and I could only wash on warm which wouldn't t work so well for some of my clothes so I couldn't wash as much as I would have liked since we had another destination when we left Tahoe. We all really enjoyed our stay!"

  • A+

"We've rented homes 5 times in Lake Tahoe for family vacations of 8-12 people. This time we had 10 adults & 1 3 yr old for a week. This was the best accommodations we've ever had, as follows: 1) It REALLY sleeps 10 adults comfortably, with no bunk beds. There is 2 levels, with “3" kings, 2 queens & extra twin beds in all the rooms but 1. 3.5 full bathrooms/hot water to accomm- -date all of us. The master suite was very nice for G-ma & G-pa. 2) Great location near shops and restaurants in Kings Beach. Easy access to downtown Northstar. 3) Great outdoor space, with no one behind you. Nice patio and deck, with grill & big hot tub. 4) The kitchen and dining space inside was very functional. To me #1, sleeping accommodations is most important for a big group (i.e. no adults have to sleep in bunk beds). It was a super ski trip and this house truly made it that way. I'd come back with my family in a heartbeat!!!"
