  • Great space in a wonderful location

"Agatam Lodge was the perfect space and location for us. Hiking and X-country skiing in the Tahoe Conservancy less than a block away, with the lake and restaurants a block in the other direction. We loved the low key vibe and dog friendly neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking."

  • Comfortable and Well Appointed Family Vacation Cabin

"We've had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home. The location just across the street from the lake was ideal for our group who took advantage of several recreational activities. There was plenty of private parking for our multi car event. The new construction ski lodge atmosphere was a treat for the whole family. The kitchen came well stocked with basics and all the tools to prepare a gourmet meal. The living room furniture was comfortable and the cozy decor was complimented with a gas fire place and updated entertainment center. Both bathrooms were well appointed with marble tile, comfortable linens and quality toiletries. Each of the three bedrooms provided large comfortable beds and spacious floor space. The view from the master bedroom deck upstairs offered a peak of Tahoe blue through the backyard pine trees. Would recommend to any group of active travelers looking for luxurious accommodations in close proximity to all the activities that Tahoe has to offer."

  • Cozy spot (Detailed review)

"First time VRBO/AirBnB user here! I just want to say that it was a wonderful, clean, and affordable place to stay, however, it might not be exactly what I needed for my group this weekend. Some details and my opinion down below :) -SLEEPING ARRANGMENT: For adults, the triple story bunks may be a bit hard to get in and out of. Understand that don't expect 6 adults to sleep in there. Perfect for kids though! Luckily we were able to fit 3 on the King bed and there was an additional futon bed where someone slept. What was left was one person in each of the triple story bunk room (they crawled into the most bottom one). -INTERNET: was spotty. I'd say it did not work 70% of the time. We were instructed to call the service provider for troubleshooting and did so a few times. They recommended a technician to come out so hopefully that gets resolved. I know its vacation time, but some people may need to make calls, do homework, or even work remotely. This frustrated some of us. -KITCHEN: Had all the pots and pans we needed. There was left over soap and a few seasonings that we did use and did not need to buy. I do not recommend any heavy cooking like frying or grilling since the hood recycles the air back in instead of out. Moderate smell of food in the area. Equipped with dishwasher, garbage disposal in sink, plenty of silverware and bowls/plates, etc. -LIVING/DINING ROOM: Very spacious couch for hanging out. We did hook up the Wii so there was standing and moving room for that as well. Spacious dining table for food and board/card games. -DECK: Nice small propane grill, deck kind of narrow so hard to fit more than 2 if hanging out there. If BBQing, one person will be grilling and then bringing food inside to eat. (If I want to BBQ, I would chose a place with a bigger/wider deck maybe with bench/table seating as well.) Don't leave the door open long! There are flies and wasps(I think) ready to come in! -HOT TUB: Straight forward, easy to operate, already heated, spacious and comfortable. -BATHROOMS: only 2 located infront of each bedroom (enter in sink area before bedroom). Toilet and shower has door to close separately. Not sure if this will be adequate if you have the maximum 12 people (between taking turns to shower and using toilet). Well equipped with hand/face & bath towels. I would definitely rent again, however, will need more careful consideration first. Based on 12 people max, this place is best for 1-3 families with kids V.S adults only."

  • A perfect place to enjoy the outdoors with family

"We had the opportunity to enjoy a 4 night stay at Boring Manor this summer. It turned out to be perfect for 6 adults, 2 young children, and an infant. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the house was much nicer than pictures would indicate. The owners must have just recently purchased the enormous reclining sectional leather couches, which were super comfy and incredibly spacious. The house is located down the street from fire roads that lead directly onto the Tahoe Rim Trail, which was super convenient for mountain biking or an easy hike. There is even a nice strip of forest and a creek bed out back which the kids enjoyed exploring. Anne was very responsive by message/email. The house was well organized with instructions for everything, and check-in/out were a cinch. The house is a great value, and we hope to stay there again in the future. Adam & family"
