  • Great family vacation

"This place was great for our family of 9 adults, 2 teenagers, 3 young boys and a 6 week old baby. 5 bedrooms were downstairs and they stayed very cool. The 6th bedroom was upstairs. It was very large, with its own bathroom and dressing area, plus beds that accommodated 2 adults and 2 teenagers. It may not have been as quiet as the downstairs bedrooms but I heard no complaints. The week we were there was hot for the Tahoe area, so the large outside deck was very welcome, but bring insect repellent. We never did use the hot tub as weather was too warm. The main living area was plenty big enough for some people to be playing games at the large table near kitchen, others to be watching TV and others to be playing pool (the pool table got a lot of use). It was a only a couple of miles to Kings Beach, and everyone enjoyed time there. Catching crawdads by the rocks was a big hit. The water was shallow for a long ways out, and it was warm, which went over big with the younger kids. The kitchen was well supplied, and there were 2 BBQ's on deck. There were no serious hikers in our group, but while walking around the neighborhood we saw access to hiking areas nearby. The house was nicely decorated with a bear theme, and there were plenty of blankets and towels. Also a large laundry room. Very enjoyable week, and I hope we can make it back there again some time."

  • Tahoe in July

"We rented the Tiger Chalet for 4 days and wish we could have stayed longer. The house is spacious and clean and about a 15 minute walk to the beach as well as the grocery store. There's also a large deck with Weber grill overlooking the golf course. Will rent again!"

  • Cozy spot (Detailed review)

"First time VRBO/AirBnB user here! I just want to say that it was a wonderful, clean, and affordable place to stay, however, it might not be exactly what I needed for my group this weekend. Some details and my opinion down below :) -SLEEPING ARRANGMENT: For adults, the triple story bunks may be a bit hard to get in and out of. Understand that don't expect 6 adults to sleep in there. Perfect for kids though! Luckily we were able to fit 3 on the King bed and there was an additional futon bed where someone slept. What was left was one person in each of the triple story bunk room (they crawled into the most bottom one). -INTERNET: was spotty. I'd say it did not work 70% of the time. We were instructed to call the service provider for troubleshooting and did so a few times. They recommended a technician to come out so hopefully that gets resolved. I know its vacation time, but some people may need to make calls, do homework, or even work remotely. This frustrated some of us. -KITCHEN: Had all the pots and pans we needed. There was left over soap and a few seasonings that we did use and did not need to buy. I do not recommend any heavy cooking like frying or grilling since the hood recycles the air back in instead of out. Moderate smell of food in the area. Equipped with dishwasher, garbage disposal in sink, plenty of silverware and bowls/plates, etc. -LIVING/DINING ROOM: Very spacious couch for hanging out. We did hook up the Wii so there was standing and moving room for that as well. Spacious dining table for food and board/card games. -DECK: Nice small propane grill, deck kind of narrow so hard to fit more than 2 if hanging out there. If BBQing, one person will be grilling and then bringing food inside to eat. (If I want to BBQ, I would chose a place with a bigger/wider deck maybe with bench/table seating as well.) Don't leave the door open long! There are flies and wasps(I think) ready to come in! -HOT TUB: Straight forward, easy to operate, already heated, spacious and comfortable. -BATHROOMS: only 2 located infront of each bedroom (enter in sink area before bedroom). Toilet and shower has door to close separately. Not sure if this will be adequate if you have the maximum 12 people (between taking turns to shower and using toilet). Well equipped with hand/face & bath towels. I would definitely rent again, however, will need more careful consideration first. Based on 12 people max, this place is best for 1-3 families with kids V.S adults only."

  • Great North Shore location and roomy for a large group

"We had several family members come in from out of state and wanted a large vacation home to accommodate 11 adults and 1 child. There was plenty of sleeping room for all of us, and the kitchen living room was a perfect gathering place for meals. The instructions to open the home and take advantage of all the amenities, including the hot tub, were spot on. We only spent 4 nights and everyone was sad to leave. We would have rated our stay 5 stars but the steep stairs to access all the levels was a little difficult for our older guests to manage. Other than that, the property had everything we needed to make our Tahoe vacation perfect. Thank you Paola Dozzo for making our first VRBO rental stress free!!"
