  • Quality property in King's Beach area

"My wife and I stayed for four nights with another couple recently and would not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends or family. The condo has three levels with two bedrooms and a bathroom on the main floor, the kitchen, dining/living room and another bathroom on the second level and a loft bedroom on the third level. Also on the second level above the entryway is a nook that gets a lot of natural light and is equipped with a love seat that is a great place to sit and read in the morning. As others have said the condo is very well equipped, particularly in the kitchen, and it is in a location that is convenient to shopping, dining and to area ski resorts and hiking trails. Our bed was also comfortable and cozy and the fireplace in the living room is wood burning and there is a good selection of board games including Apples to Apples which we had a lot of fun playing."

  • Great North Shore location and roomy for a large group

"We had several family members come in from out of state and wanted a large vacation home to accommodate 11 adults and 1 child. There was plenty of sleeping room for all of us, and the kitchen living room was a perfect gathering place for meals. The instructions to open the home and take advantage of all the amenities, including the hot tub, were spot on. We only spent 4 nights and everyone was sad to leave. We would have rated our stay 5 stars but the steep stairs to access all the levels was a little difficult for our older guests to manage. Other than that, the property had everything we needed to make our Tahoe vacation perfect. Thank you Paola Dozzo for making our first VRBO rental stress free!!"

  • I would stay again

"First off, thank you for sharing your home with my family and I. We enjoyed staying in the Tahoe area and miss it already. Very nice upgrades can be seen made to an older home. A good selection of decor to complement the mood of the house. A couple 'heads up' to those contemplating about staying at this house. 1. Washer/dryer are located in the garage. We had trouble looking for this for some reason? 2. Internet password and user ID was sent to me via e-mail however on the posted version on the wall, it had not been updated yet and still had the old information which caused a lot of confusion. Suggest updating this posted version as we referred to it a lot during our stay. 3. The first couch in the first living space when you enter bottoms out when you sit on it, badly. We have a family member with chronic low back pain and when he sat on it, it startled him much as he guards his back much. 4. Jacuzzi does not heat up >89 deg. I wouldn't say the above mentioned are cons of staying at this place. These really are small details that we looked past but hope that they would become handy to anyone who will be staying at the house. The bottom line is we would stay here again. For the $, carries good value. The owner responds promptly to your needs (we communicated solely through e-mail and it was very timely for me). Overall clean house. BBQ was in good working order. We loved how the house was nestled up in the woods and the lake was very close by. Very quiet neighborhood. Parking was spacious. Thank you again and hopefully in the future we have another opportunity to stay in your house."

  • Nice getaway!

"The property is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood near the lake. The home is spacious and just as described. We didn't get a chance to use the BBQ, but the kitchen was set up well for cooking breakfasts/dinners. There is plenty of room to relax indoors as well as on the 2 decks (or in the meadow which my boys loved). The wi-fi worked well and I was able to sneak in a little work. The owner was quick with responses and gave good tips about the area. We enjoyed driving around the area to explore the different beaches and various “tourist” attractions. I would recommend this property if you are looking for a family getaway and would definitely like to revisit it and the area in the summer."
