  • Great Experience

"What an excellent trip to Northstar. I would definitely stay in this home again. Geoff was great to work with and easily accessible. We travelled with 6 adults and 5 children (ages 1y, 2y, 11y, 11y, 15y) and had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep, eat, and relax. The beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was a great way to end a day of skiing. We cooked simple dinners at home each night and found all the supplies we needed in the kitchen. The yard full of snow was fun for the kids to sled and build snowmen. The house is right on the golf course, so if you wanted to snow shoe, it would be easily accessible. The shuttle was incredibly convenient to Northstar village (skiing, dining, ice skating, etc). It comes within 5 minutes of calling and picks you up right in the driveway. There were quite a few stairs within the home, so probably not the best for anyone with a physical disability, but they are carpeted and easy to maneuver for my 1 and 2 year old kids."

  • Perfect house and location!

"Stayed here for a week with our family of 4. Plenty of space, clean, AMAZING view! Very comfortable house- we felt like we were right at home! walked or biked downtown, restaurants, etc. The only downside was that there is a little highway noise at night- if you want a totally quiet place, you might want to check a different spot- but it didn't bother us too much. The pros definitely outweighed the cons!"

  • Great rental for families

"We recently rented this house for a weekend away with our teenagers and were delighted by the floor-plan, amenities and location of this house. The living area is open and the loft is conducive to family time by keeping everyone closer than if they were in their own rooms. There were 2 private rooms downstairs, but we opted to have half of the kids share the spacious loft which worked nicely. The yard was perfect for snow-play and the driveway was nicely plowed when we arrived. It's located in a quiet neighborhood and at times I was self-conscious that our laughter might bother the neighbors since the neighborhood is so quiet, which was very relaxing. We didn't see any neighbors all weekend, but we did see the occasional car drive by and we even saw one pulling someone on an inner-tube (not a good idea). An officer soon stopped by to ask us if we were the ones sledding in the street, we weren't, but it was nice to know we were safe in a well-policed neighborhood where neighbors look out for one another. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of fluffy pillows and there were fresh clean towels in the nicely remodeled bathrooms. The owner was also very responsive throughout the transaction and the price is fair."

  • Wonderful Space & Setting

"The house was spacious and attractive with updated features. All the many windows gave natural light and the view to the mountains was spectacular. It was a wonderful place to spend Christmas with family - especially as it accommodated our young children with crib, high chair, a walker and some toys. The kitchen with all its counter space was terrific; beds comfortable, overall layout good for us. Needed supplies were available with good instructions. The owner was attentive and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to friends & family for any time of the year."
