  • Affordable Luxury Walking Distance to the Village

"We have stayed in several condos around Northstar village and Teri's condo is by far the most beautiful and yet homey of them all. I can be hard to please, but this condo has everything you could want at a reasonable cost. You will enjoy everything from the fine finishes to the the extras like comfortable and clean extra blankets, gourmet coffee maker (naturally since she owns a wonderful coffee house), updated electronics, heating blankets on the beds, and on... Teri provides ideal customer service and goes above and beyond for her renters. We thought we were snowed in this last week and Teri made phone calls for us on her own looking for a place we could move to. This condo is a very short (for real) walk. In fact my husband and little girl walked there faster than I drove. Access to the recreation center is such a bonus when staying at the condo. We have already booked two weeks next year. If you want to drive for dinner and you are a foodie you must eat at Rustic Lounge in King's Beach at the Cedar Glen Lodge. Our favorite local restaurant. Thanks again Teri!"

  • Cozy and clean.

"Nice cozy, clean condo; perfect for my husband and I. Had some problems getting the lock box open, but other than that everything was great. First time to Tahoe, and Northstar was a lovely place to stay. Used the rec center pool, visited Starbucks each morning, drove around the lake and stopped at Sand Harbor, which is a great beach, and ate at a lot of wonderful restaurants. Also drove into Carson City and ate Salvadorian food and visited a museum."

  • We will be back to this amazing place

"We stayed here for 3 nights in August, and enjoyed the entire time immensely! We would love to come back to ski this winter. Nice things about the place: - Spectacular views, great hikes out the front door. - Quiet (it's an end unit) - Comfortable (and numerous!) beds. - Tastefully decorated - Incredibly thoughtfully appointed. There was even a USB and iPhone charger in case you forgot yours at home! Everything you could possibly need was there - with one striking exception: There was no coffee! (This was an awful discovery to make at 6am :) ). Other than this oversight, the kitchen had everything we wanted, with better hardware than we had at home. We had a truly great time. As I said, we'll be back. We just should not forget to pack the coffee :)"

  • Family ski house

"The Kodiak Lodge was perfect for our family ski weekend. We traveled with our three young kids, and the house made the trip so do-able and fun. Because the house is on the ski slope, my husband and I could take turns skiing with our older child while the other stayed home with the littler ones – literally watching through the panoramic windows with coffee in hand. I’ve seen ski out houses, and ski in houses, but this is truly ski out and ski in! When we weren’t taking advantage of the skiing, we were enjoying the game room or the hot tub. While the house is a little rustic in some ways, it's what you expect/want when you're in the mountains. The kitchen is well-stocked. The beds are comfortable. We’ll be back!"
