  • Great location, wonderful property!

"We had a great stay in this home. The home is well-maintained and the location is great. We were here with family and enjoyed all the amenities ... The hot tub, pool, deck were all well maintained and in working order. I worked from the loft ... Wi-if allowed me to stay connected to the office while enjoying my family and play time in the afternoon and evenings. The location lets you avoid a lot of the SLT traffic .... And is close and convenient to shopping and skiing. Overall, our stay was great and we would not hesitate to stay in this home again."

  • Relaxing Getaway

"We arrived at the house on a very sunny day in April and enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful backyard overlooking the boat dock. Our dog loved the comfortable grass and watching the ducks in the water. The house was very comfortable and we loved cooking in the large kitchen and eating dinner at the table overlooking the water. Loved the smart tv in the living room and the gas fireplace was a godsend on one of the days that it was raining all day and we came home wet, cold and tired from a long hike. That was the other thing we liked was the proximity to Heavenly ski resort and all the hiking trails out by Emerald Bay. We have just a few things we didn't like: 1. All the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable - my daughter actually slept on the couch in a sleeping bag because all 5 beds downstairs were way too hard for her. The master bedroom bed was also very hard and sloped in the middle - my husband and I woke up every night falling into each other in the middle. 2. I could've sworn I saw a picture of a hot tub in the backyard but maybe it was just all the other houses I looked at that got me confused. No matter, we thought, because they have a clubhouse we can pay to go to. Well, apparently, the pool and hot tub, we were told by the athletic club staff, were broken! When I called the owner to ask if she knew when they would re-open, she got very rude and defensive saying that those were just an extra and she had nothing to do with them and didn't know. I said that was one of the main reasons why we chose this house - again more rudeness and then she said oh yes, she remembered something that the pool/hot tub area was being renovated!! If we would have known that, we would have never booked any house in the Tahoe Keys area. So, all in all, I would recommend this house as it was very comfortable to be in, however, stay away from calling the owner - not a nice person!"

  • Great Place

"The home was much bigger than the pictures. The condo was very clean and comfortable coach. The kids loved it and it was very nice for the owner to leave drawings books and crayons. A few blocks from Heavenly and near Lake Tahoe boulevard. Very convenient and owner was quickly responsive when I had problem turning on heater. I definitely will be using this condo in the future. Best part it had a courtyard and kids were able to play in the snow."

  • Fantastic value, comfortable house, great location

"This house was a real find! Cloud 9 is bigger than it appears in pictures, and there are beds for everyone. We stayed the first week of August with another family, and this house was at least as nice as most others we've rented in the past, but far more reasonably priced. The only catch is that you have to bring your own sheets and towels, but we found that wasn't really an issue, and it was nice having sheets from home. Don't forget hand towels and washcloths too. The stairs are a bit of a beast when loading all your stuff in, so prepare for a small workout. Once inside, the roomy downstairs will stun you with its large bedrooms. I was picturing tiny rooms where you'd have to walk on the bed to access the bunks. Not so - the rooms are huge, with plenty of floor room around the queen bed in the middle and the two bunks on either side. Each room would be perfect for a family of up to 6, and there are 1.5 baths on this level. Upstairs, the views will stun you. The giant wraparound deck is perfect for morning coffee or afternoon wine. The grill is very small (would be nice to upgrade it); if you plan on burgers for a big crew, it will take some time. The couches are very comfy, and the kitchen is much roomier than it appears in pictures. My husband is very picky about cooking supplies and the only thing he didn't have access to was a salad spinner. Everything else was there! And the supplies of paper towels, TP, dishwashing soap etc. were great. Tahoma is a perfect location - you can take a walk to Chamber's Landing, or a short drive to Meek's Bay or Emerald Bay. Lots of hiking for dog lovers too - go up the hill, enter the forest area, and turn left at the water tank for a nice hike. Highly recommended."
