  • Perfect for Families

"We just got back from our stay and found this place to be perfect for our family of 6. The location provided easy access to shopping, activities and the lake, but was also very secluded and allowed us to just get away. The kids loved the game room. The kitchen was stocked with all the basic cooking supplies and they had a nice selection of entertainment options (game room, movies, cable, etc...). The beds were all comfortable and everything was clean. Also, Bruce could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We booked this property at the very last minute (day of arrival), and Bruce went out of his way to ensure we were able to get in and made our arrival smooth."

  • Great Summer Rental Home!

"My husband and I brought four teenagers to this amazing house and had a wonderful time! There was room for everyone to either spend time together or get plenty of elbow room to be alone. It felt like the owners had thought of everything when creating this lovely rental...lots of towels, extra blankets and pillows. There was a new sponge for cleaning dishes and brand new bars of soap for the showers, as well as laundry soap and a spare propane tank for the BBQ. Everything worked nicely, and there must be a nice water heater because even after all 7 of the others taking a shower I was still able to get a nice hot shower myself. The owner had a lot of great tips, suggestions and websites she offered about our visit. Echo Lake is very close to the house, and has a really nice trail that is part of the Pacific Crest Trail. It was really fun to cross paths with so many serious hikers! Afterward, we grabbed the water taxi back down to our starting point and were able to grab some food at the store. We also kayaked on Echo Lake because it was so much more serene than Tahoe. It was an awesome experience! Very peaceful and of the few people we passed on the water, everyone was very friendly. That might have been the highlight of our trip! One of the best things about this house was being away from the busy-ness of South Tahoe but still being able to get to things easily. We rented a boat at Camp Richardson, visited the Tallac Historic Site and spent some time at The Shops at Heavenly Village, all without feeling like we had to drive that far. All in all, a great location and a really well maintained rental house to call home for your Tahoe adventure."

  • lots of fun

"We came with 12 family members, aged 6 months through 70 years old and the house was perfect for all ages. Plenty to do, just the right kinds of games in the house. Like the quiet neighborhood and yet still just a few minutes away from all the water activities the kids and adults sought out. Overall, a great experience. One side note...encountered a bear on the back deck one evening, and then two nights later the bear turned over the trash bin in the driveway and it fell on one of our cars denting the hood. Trash bin needs to be bolted down somehow. And a heads up that bears roam the neighborhood would have been welcome. That said, I still loved the place, made great memories and would recommend it to anyone needing a family friendly getaway."

  • Wonderful, relaxing cabin !

"My husband and I really loved this cabin. The interior is charming with lots of cute bear decor . The kitchen is well stocked with spices, oil, pots, pans, knives and plenty of dishware. Beds were very comfortable and lots of extra pillows and comforters. The neighborhood is very peaceful and you don't have far to drive to get to a deli or market for supplies. I especially loved the hot tub and steam - a great way to start the day or ease those tired muscles after a day of hiking. The fenced in yard was really nice for our dogs too. We felt so rested, it was hard to leave ! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cabin retreat !"
