  • Great place to stay with a large group.

"Very clean. Owner was quick to respond to any questions we had while we were staying. Would highly recommend to anyone skiing with a large group in Heavenly."

  • Good getaway property

"The property managers were very nice and helpful. The house was in a nice area with a community pool that the kids loved. Be prepared for a lot of stair climbing as the bedrooms are on the middle level, kitchen and living area on the upper level, front door on first level, and garage below on basement level. The carpets were pretty stained but otherwise the home was quite clean. I was disappointed that there were no paper towels or tissues provided and even the salt and pepper were pretty sketchy looking. Overall, we had a good experience."

  • Great House, comfortable and relaxing

"Large, well furnished, and comfortable house with all the amenities located on one of the tahoe keys inlets. Inside the house is very Child / Toddler friendly, and outside it's the same. The backyard is gated in from the water, and the 2nd story patio is enclosed. Owner was very easy to work with and responsive. Would stay here again."

  • Wonderful ski cabin, great location

"This is the second winter we have stayed in the cabin for 10 days to ski in the Tahoe area. We stayed here last year and it worked so well for us we did not consider any place else. While the cabin is older, it has been almost completely remodeled inside, including the all-important modern kitchen and bathroom, and is very comfortable. Gas fireplace is a great plus. Technically it sleeps four, however two of those are a bunk bed so it is ideal for either a single couple or families with younger kids. Kitchen has all the amenities for cooking so you can easily prepare meals instead of hitting restaurants all the time. Be aware it does not have a dishwasher, but the tradeoff is it is equipped with a combination washer/dryer. This machine is nice for doing some light laundry, but given that you cannot dry and wash a load at the same time, a major laundry effort would take some time (but you should be skiing anyway!) One of the things we really like about the cabin is the location. For skiing, it is a quick 10 minute drive to the California Lodge and Aerial Tram at Heavenly, so there is easy access to the mountain. Leave the cabin at 8:40 on a weekday and you have close parking to the Tram and are loading onto it at 9:00. Northstar and Kirkwood Mountain are about an hour drive away, depending on traffic and road conditions. I also like that it is in a quiet neighborhood, away from all of the hustle-and bustle of the casinos and such. The casinos are about a 10 minute drive away if you care to donate some money to them. The cabin is closer to some of the restaurants/bars that cater to locals a bit more - Cold Water Brewery, Sidellis, and Steamers were all quite good and appear to cater to locals. You will need a car to get around if you stay here. Finally, the owner, Kevin, is a nice guy who is very accommodating, available, and helpful with any issues that arise."
