  • Comfortable Cabin

"This cabin in South Lake Tahoe was much better than we expected. We only slept in one bedroom (upstairs) and the bed was firm but comfortable. The cabin itself was well stocked with pretty much anything you need. We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. I think out of everything I liked the fenced yard for our little dog and the kitchen. The kitchen was full of utensils, pots and pans, etc. I've been to many rental houses and this one seemed to be the only one where everything in the kitchen was a "full/complete set". The silverware, dinner dishes, and pots and pans were all very nice. The cabin was very clean. Steve met us at the front gate and showed us how to get through the little gated walkway that leads to the cabin. The BBQ was easy to use. The hot tub was nice (except there were a lot of gnats floating in the water. We tried to get them out but that didn't work very well. But it was still nice. It was easy to clean up before we left. No miscommunications at all during the rental process. I would definitely encourage you to rent this cabin."

  • Great location, needs some updates

"I picked this place by the location (1), by how many it would accommodate (2), and because it had a hot tub (3). The games were an added bonus that the kids initially were very excited about...until they realized they had better games on their iPads. Still, made the place unique. The neighborhood is quiet - almost too quiet for my 4 kids. The hot tub died on us after about 10 minutes first use - but management/maintenance came within a few hours and it worked flawlessly after that. The BBQ was a problem - we were able to get it to light just once, but never again after that. So resorted to indoor cooking. We initially had problems with the cable TV, but figured it out. Overall, this place worked out very well for the family 4 adults and 4 kids ages 4-13. There were 2 bedrooms and a bath downstairs, so grandparents didn't have to use the stairs. 3 bathrooms were plenty. The kitchen and all the utensils/cookware were great. It's old and floors creaked, especially when walking upstairs late at night. The furnishings (especially the bedding) could be updated. Location didn't disappoint - close to restaurants, shopping, Heavenly Ski Resort, lake access, hiking, rock climbing, etc. Fun fun fun. I'd recommend for groups of 8+ people."

  • Beautiful, clean and well equipped.

"The location is ideal, just a block away from the lake and a couple of blocks away from shops and restaurants. There was heavy snow and yet the roads in the area were cleated which was very important to us coming from the desert and used to a completely different type of weather. The layout of the cabin was also ideal and it accommodated our family perfectly. We can't wait to spend out vacations there once again."

  • Weekend with cousins

"Nice clean cozy cabin, perfect for the 6 of us. Quiet neighborhood. Close access to beach, our dogs enjoyed the walks. Hot tub was great, clean. Short drive to downtown Tahoe. Easy to get anywhere around South Tahoe from cabin. Mary was great, if any questions she always got right back to us."
