  • Excellent! Everything you need

"Immediately looking at the front of the place it was gorgeous. Everything you need could possibly need was provided. Snow toys, board games, ice skates, everything. So much we couldn't use it all. The place was very very spacious and access to the woods was literally down the street. Will definitely return for future tahoe trips. Also Toni responds really fast when you email a question. Thanks!"

  • great place with everything you need.

"I would just like to say that Dan was great working with. We had a great time! It was a first for us being in the LARGE hot tub while it was snowing!!. The dogs loved the nice fenced in the yard. The pictures don't show it but they have a new sectional upstairs and and nice flat screen TV downstairs. So many games to choose from to play. Everything you need in the kitchen. The kitchen table has four chairs and their is a closet with extra chairs where you can comfortably seat 6 or more if needed. Close to everything, easy to get to, well maintained and would definitely come back! Thanks Dan!"

  • Great house with a cabin feel and a responsive owner

"Jeff's house was perfect for my family Christmas vacation in South Lake Tahoe. The location was good, as it is away from the hustle and bustle of SLT, and on your way in or out of town. However you do have to drive anywhere you go from the house. The house itself is super cabin-y and cozy. The hot tub was very nice after a day of snowboarding. The photos are very accurate and representative of the house. And Jeff was very responsive and helpful, both before our stay and during. One issue we had was the queen bed in the master bedroom was too soft for our liking. This is only a preference thing, but we had a tough time sleeping on that bed. There were no complaints about the other beds from the rest of our group. And for some reason the sheet on the queen bed came off every night while we were sleeping. It seems to be a little small for the height of the mattress. I would recommend Jeff replace the sheet with one for a deeper mattress. The other issue we experienced was the hot tub stopped working one night, because of a loss in water level. We never figured out why it happened, but Jeff was very responsive and had it fixed the next day, and there were no issues with the hot tub the rest of our stay. Overall I would recommend staying at this property. It was a good value, even during the holiday season, and the amenities make it a great place to spend a week. The hot tub, gas fire place, ping pong table and dart board made a fun family week for my family. And Jeff was a great host."

  • Cozy and delightful

"We had a wonderful time at Peggy and Bill's awesome cabin! We have two little boys (4 and 2) and our oldest (a 6 year old lab) and we all enjoyed every moment of our stay. Peggy and Bill are as gracious as it gets and help make your stay extremely comfortable. We celebrated our son's 4th birthday during our stay and he saw the snow fall for the first time - in such a beautiful setting. I would highly recommend this rental and will definitely send family and friends to Peggy and Bill when they need a place to stay when in town!"
