  • Best yet!

"Our family has been using vrbo every year but one since 2000. We have rented many lovely homes over the years. This was by far the best one yet! We rented it to bring all of our adult children and grandchildren to Lake Tahoe to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Could not have chosen a more perfect place!! The kitchen was phenomenal. Extremely well stocked. And large. All of the bedrooms are on separate levels from the main gathering areas, which was very helpful with our family of 19 with 9 grandchildren ranging in age from 21 years old to 3. Lots of room for a variety of activities within the house as well as a fantastic location which is close to all the great Tahoe outdoor activities. One of the hiking trails some of the grands loved was practically next to the house. Lots of large and long fluffy towels. A nice surprise especially because several in r party are well over 6 feet. Furnishings are comfy and cozy. But the best thing was that for the first time ever, no one complained about the beds or the bedding--hard to make 19 people happy. Due to a transition in staff. I worked with the owner, Gerry Nardini, most of the time. Such a very nice man. He even supplied beach towels for us when I told him r group was flying in from many different places. He could not have been more accommodating. My husband and I only wish we could afford to come every year."

  • Summer Weekend Getaway

"This house was perfect for a weekend getaway with a large group. The house easily accommodated our full group of 13 guys. Plenty of rooms and beds, especially for the price - easily one of the best value rentals in the area. The location is well secluded and the flowing brook on the side of the house is a nice added touch of nature. It isn't a new build modern home, but that adds to its mountain charm. The outdoor grill was easily able to handle a large BBQ, although the kitchen only sat 6 (there were two wooden benches on the front patio, but no table, so seating a large group in one area wasn't possible). What really makes this house amazing is its location. Nothing is more than a couple miles away: Safeway is less than 5 minutes away, the lake is a short and easy walk, and Stateline casinos are a short Uber ride. This house makes a perfect basecamp for all of Tahoe's many activities. Lakeview Commons down the street is a great place to get a table on the water for a picnic or to watch the sunset. Our group also rented a boat at Ski Run Marina and had an amazing time on the water before coming back and hitting up Stateline. You can really do everything conveniently from this house. Erik was always available and prompt over email, answering any questions and providing suggestions for our stay."
