  • Another Great Stay !!!

"We have been renting from Rex for nearly 13 years and have never had a bad experience. We have already booked another stay for this nice big house. This house has all you will need from the hot tub to the game room to all the bedrooms and bathrooms. You can't beat the location, price, and huge deck to relax on. So take it from our family when we say dealing with Rex has always been a 5 star experience. Thank You Rex for all your hard work and effort and we will be back in May."

  • Awesome Labor Day Tahoe trip

"My family spent the best Labor Day vacation in this amazing townhouse up on a hill in the mountains! We enjoyed the spacious, very clean and comfortable house. Our 2 teenagers enjoyed riding the gondola that is only 6 minutes away. Beautiful scenery, spectacular sunrise, lights of the valley and the pool and spa in the clubhouse were added features! For sure, we recommend Heavenly Shangrila Art Deco to our friends! Hope to come back"

  • Great spot for a big group, well-priced and good location

"My close friends and I have an annual Lake Tahoe trip, and we found this little spot online and were very happy with it. The size was great for 14 of us. The kitchen is nicely remodeled and well-stocked with utensils and pots/pans. The kitchen is a bit small, but it worked out for us. We cooked huge family meals for both of the two nights of our stay, so everything about it came in handy. The living room and dining area is a great size for our meals and for playing games and such. The location is less than 5 miles from Ski Run Marina as well I believe. It was a very short drive. I was happy with how many outlets there were in the house and the bedding was clean and comfortable. The barbecue is like-new as well and we got great use out of it. Owners are very quickly responsive and very sweet! We all loved our stay, but I had a few negatives that are not major, but should be addressed. The place gets a solid 5. I want to explain some downsides for the owners to fix, which is why the part below looks so long. Don't be alarmed by it. My only complaints are that there were a lot of spider webs in the bedrooms, there were holes in the ceilings of two bathrooms(where light fixture covers should be). I ended up sharing a bed with my friend and also sleeping on the couch one night since the room with the twin beds (french door adjoining room) was full of cobwebs. There were spider webs in the master bedroom part of that room as well where the queen bed is. We had to clear out a few before sleeping. In the master bathroom upstairs, there is a missing part to the overhead light so it is exposed and there is a ton of dust just sitting there. It looks like it could fall out of that ceiling hole at any moment; looked gross. The same goes for the first bathroom at the front entrance of the house. Cleaning people should inspect or come tidy up before each guest arrives, and if they do, then please have them do it more thoroughly because those spider webs were not hidden by any means and the ceiling holes in the bathroom were very unappealing. Those are honestly minor details though; this place is near-perfect and for the price and location, you CANNOT beat it; we would definitely return!"

  • Great hot tub, big living room

"Cozy house, plenty of sleeping space for 14 people. Living room is big and has a great huge couch and fireplace. Dining room is small (only seats 6 people) so we ate on the couch in the living room (too cold to eat outside at the picnic tables). Kitchen is well-stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Hot tub is bigger than most and worked great. Heater was a little funky (some rooms too hot while other rooms were still cold). Decor is cute and creek running through the property makes it feel like you're in the forest. Not fancy, but a great cabin for our snow trip. Was nicer than what we expected for the price."
