  • Cozy winter wonderland

"This cabin was small and cozy, a perfect stay for my family and I. It is right across the street from a camp ground. Where we played in the snow for a bit. Located near everything stores and food are less then 3 mins away. The cabin is the only one on the site with its own fenced off backyard. Perfect if you have a dog. This cabin also had a larger parking area in front compared to the other cabins. I loved this cabin and would definitely stay here again."

  • Spring break stay

"The house was well-furnished, with comfort and fun in mind for our stay during spring break. The house was close to Heavenly and Sierra ski resorts. We chose to cook our meals at the house as the kitchen was so well-stocked. There was plenty of board games to keep everyone busy. The TV entertainment center with access to the latest movies couldn't be beat. The high end furnitures and beds provided for our comfort. Our kids enjoyed the arcade style game machine."

  • Great house with lots of room!

"We had a great time at South Lake over the weekend. This house was close to perfect for our family getaway which included my husband and 18 month old toddler as well as my husband's parents and his sister's family, which included a 4 year old and 14 month old. While we could have gone with 1 more bedroom because one of the rooms was tight to fit the pack n play, we were able to make it work by setting it up in the adjacent laundry room. The Master Bedroom was huge and gave plenty of room for my sister in law and her family to stay in. My husband and I took the smallest bedroom with 2 twin beds. These beds were probably the least comfortable, but that would be my only complaint. The common area was very spacious and the pool table was a hit with the guys! I honestly think that our trip would have been a whole lot different had we not had that pool table and I think it's now an essential for future trips! The hot tub was wonderful - it looked pretty new and super clean too! The kitchen had tons of room to maneuver and cook in and lots of storage to put all of our food and snacks that we brought for the trip. There were plenty of wine glasses too! :) The Perry's have a wonderful home and we hope to make a return trip! The neighbors were super cool, friendly, and helpful! The ones right behind the house even gave us a heads up that they were going to have band practice, which didn't bother us one bit! The weather was great, but the best snow happened on the day we left town, which was a bummer. The house was warm, clean, cozy and not too far from town, which was very convenient too! We really enjoyed our stay. I didn't want to write a great review because I wanted to keep this house our little secret! :)"
