  • Fantastic view of Meeks Bay!

"The property was as described and very easy check in. We loved the location and the fantastic views. The property was much bigger than we were expecting. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • Amazing location, view, and affordability.

"Stayed here with 10 of my buddies for a bachelor party and we had a great time. The cabin accommodated all of us easily. The location is pretty good; not too far from any one area nor too close. The view was absolutely incredible. We couldn't have asked for more based on what we payed for the weekend. The property is managed so the pick up and drop off of the keys was easy."

  • Great home with amazing view and perfect for a family reunion

"This house was amazing for an expanded family of 7 adults and 2 toddlers. The house's bedrooms were split over 2 floors which was perfect for us. The upstairs had 2 bedrooms with a jack and jill bathroom which was perfect for my sister and I. The main level had 2 rooms with ensuite baths which were perfect for my sister and her husband and my niece and her family of 4 with 1 room left over with the hall bath for my other niece. The master was large enough for my niece to set up a pack and play and place a twin mattress on the floor for her 2 kids, with room to spare. The living room had a wonderful oversized sectional that fit our entire family with room to spare and the view was absolutely amazing. This house is on what I would consider to be the quieter side of the lake but close enough to South Lake Tahoe that you have access to grocery stores and restaurants. The deck was great and more than big enough for everyone to sit outside and with a glass surround that made it safe for my 1 and 3 year old great niece and nephew to run around and we didn't have to worry about them falling off. The house had a DVD player and a great selection of movies although my 3 year old nephew fell in love with Peter Pan and had to watch it 6 times! Since there were so few houses in the area it was dark enough to see the milky way and I was able to do some cool astro photography. There were only 2 things about this house that were minor inconveniences but not enough of an inconvenience that I would downgrade my rating of this house. 1st the kitchen was quite small compared to the size of the house but it was still functional and held all of the modern amenities that everyone loves including 2 coffee pots which is essential for my sister and her husband. The 2nd is the stairs to get up to the house. We are all from lower elevations so at 6500' we were all battling altitude symptoms and combine that with 4 flights of stairs made for a heck of a cardio workout. Overall this was an amazing house with an amazing view from every window, including a lovely view of the forest from the upstairs bathroom shower! It was a bit dis-concerning to step into the shower and be able to see out but there are no houses or people out there so I got use to it quickly although a bird scared the life out of me when it landed on branch outside. I would definitely recommend this house and I'd go back in a heartbeat...I would just pack less!"

  • A great house for a family reunion!

"We just returned from a week at this cabin in the woods, and really enjoyed our stay there! We had 3 young children with us, and there were plenty of beds and bedrooms for all of us. Many other family members actually had homes on the lake, but their decks were hot in the morning, and the lake was too deep for our youngsters to jump off their docks. We liked the cool mornings on the deck in the forest, and the beautiful sandy beach for the kids to wade into. We even named one of the rocks "mermaid rock", since it was easy to swim to. The owner was very easy to work with, and communicated promptly and often!"
