  • Cozy, relaxing dog friendly cabin

"We spent the most relaxing 4 nights at the Buckhorn cabin! The location is awesome! Walking distance to the lake, Sunnyside and a phenomenal deli! Near great hiking trails and ski resorts. I love to cook, so was happy to have a well-stocked kitchen. The owners are extremely nice and helpful! We will definitely return, once the snow season kicks in!"

  • Great place for an extended family visit.

"The experience was very good. The house was very clean, plenty of linens, the kitchen well stocked (we cooked Thanksgiving dinner). The reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5; sauna wasn't working and we didn't know until we arrived there and tried to use it. It would have been nice to be informed. Also the beds!! King size in master bedroom was very very used and lumpy. The queen sized beds in both downstairs bedrooms were very much the same, lumpy and well worned. The room with 2 sets of bunk beds were very small beds for even teenagers to sleep comfortably. Despite the bed issues, I would love to stay there again. Hopefully they can remedy the beds."

  • Beautiful but noisy

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is gorgeous, with a particularly beautiful kitchen and master bathroom. However, it's right on Hwy 89, which means it's quite noisy. Cal Trans happened to be doing some work right outside the house every night we were there, all night. Even without that, though, you would hear the cars going by, all day and night. But overall, a very nice place, close to the lake and several good restaurants."

  • Great Family Cabin

"My family and I stayed for the full month of July this summer and had a great experience. The property has everything you need and most importantly is a short walk to the Tahoe Park private beach. The house is clean and very comfortable with a great front porch and backyard. Ample parking and the neighbors are very friendly. After spending a month in the area, we felt like this is the best location in Tahoe. Short walk to a great beach and the new market which has everything you need. Easy ride into Tahoe City."
