"Super comfy and homey apartment. Appointed with all the amenities of home. Restful, and well located near town, the ski slopes, great breakfast spots and a superb market. Minutes walk to the lake."

  • Lovely, Well-Appointed Cabin

"We stayed for a week and enjoyed the Lake and activities around the lake including Hiking to Skunk Harbor on the East Shore, White Water Rafting with Tahoe Whitewater Tours , Swimming, Fishing with Captain Chris (SO NICE) and Jet Skiing behind Steamers restaurant near Kings Beach. The Fire Sign Cafe is a MUST - amazing breakfast and lunch - great service. Also BridgeTender for Burgers was good. The house itself was clean & had firm comfy beds and has everything you need except maybe beach chairs. No issues with the wifi at all. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need - pots, pans and utensils - cute mug collection - Moose Drool Mug was a favorite. We used the coffee that was left behind and payed it forward with a new tub for the next family. (There is also a little something in the bar.) We definitely utilized the washer/dryer. I can see how in winter it would be a trek up to the house from the lower parking pad with gear. Thank you for sharing your Tahoe Cabin! We will be back in the winter!"

  • Beautiful place 15 minutes from Alpine Meadows and 20 min from squaw Valley

"The house is real cozy, and has the bedrooms well separated from each other. The kitchen's a little small if your going to cook a lot, but big enough to get whatever you need done. Really, everything about the property was great. Tahoe City is also a great town to stay in. It's got some fancy restaurants with great food and a couple of good sports bars with a great crowd. You can get fantastic prime rib at Rosie's, a great gourmet burger at Sunnyside, and still get $4 coors light and play pool at Pete & Pete's. I know there's a lot of great places that we didn't stumble across. Skiing was great, even if the conditions weren't perfect. Had 1 day with powder just after Christmas, and then it absolutely dumped snow the day we packed up to leave. Squaw had lots of cool terrain, especially on the back side around Solitude and up in the bowls. The less aggressive terrain had good snow and was wide enough that you could keep pretty good speed on it without getting crowded by slower skiers. When Squaw got busy, Alpine meadows was a great spot. There was maybe half as many people on the slopes, and he terrain was still a lot of fun (even if there wasn't as much of it). Anyway, had a great time. The house was great. The nightlife was great. Hauserman Rentals is an A+ operation- we had no issues, and they answered the phone when I asked how to light the fireplace on Christmas Eve (the instructions were also in the paperwork the left on the table for us)."
