  • Great stay...beautiful home!

"We stayed in this beautiful West Shore home for a week and found everything we needed was provided. The well thought out floor plan, with a large entryway was ideal when coming back from a day of skiing. The owner was easy to work with and everything was exactly as he said it would be. I would rent this cabin again in a heartbeat and recommend to family and friends!"

  • Great place on the west side of the lake

"Our family stayed here for a relaxing Labor Day break and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Cozy Cabin is in a quiet neighborhood at the end of a wooded street, which feels like you are away from it all. We hiked to Eagle Rock, walked to Homewood, and it is a short drive to Sunnyside, beaches and restaurants. Our dog was very comfortable and the surrounding area is great for walks. Peter, the owner, is easy to work with and responsive. We will be back!"

  • Our family enjoyed an incredible week together in this lovely Tahoe Pines cabin

"Our family enjoyed a wonderful week together in this lovely Tahoe Pines cabin. The 4 common areas of the home (kitchen, dining room, game room, and living room) flow nicely together and yet retain a distinctive separation such that no one room feels too large or too crowded. The 8 of us were able to find our own spaces to spread out and still feel together. The kitchen was equipped with all that we needed (and more) to cook up a week of shared meals together. There was ample bedroom space to accommodate 4 couples, however the master bedroom is the only truly private space when sleeping that many. The bedroom above the kitchen and the loft off of the second bedroom both open to the common space below, and to get to the loft, you must pass through the second bedroom. Kathy made sure we understood the layout before our trip was confirmed and the space worked well for us. The house is set among a beautiful neighborhood with some classic Tahoe style chalets and cottages. Though the neighboring houses are close, the neighborhood was especially quiet and peaceful during the week of our stay. We enjoyed several snowy strolls from the house, out Blackwood Canyon on the snowmobile trail, up Eagel Rock, and along the lakeshore. Homewood Ski resort is not more than a mile up the road and provided great conditions and options even for our group of novice snowboarders. Tahoe City provided all the amenities we could need and is only a quick jaunt up the road by car. However, with a home base as gorgeous and comfy as this one, it was always the short straw who was forced to run out. Could not recommend Larry and Kathy's home more highly. They were, themselves, impeccable hosts who communicated well and ensured we had all that we needed to enjoy our week in their home. Would love to make a trip back there again in the future."
