  • A very nice place.

"We found the place to be a wonderful haven. The queen bed was better than the one at home! There is no stove, but the refrigerator, microwave and hotplate were plenty for our needs. Nice and quiet."

  • Beautiful Setting and Lakefront Executive Cabin. Lovely Owners.

"Folks, this is a beautiful property in any season and an incredible place for a family, or group of families, to enjoy a special time. The home is spacious, well appointed and set up to ensure you have a great time. Three master suites, dual laundry facilities, redundant water heaters and an automatic generator, along with nice plowed streets in the winter, have you enjoying life without a thought. The beachfront and dock make the lake easily accessible as well. Just minutes from Homewood, and an easy jaunt to Alpine Meadows and the world famous Rubicon Trail, this is the spot. The owners made things easy and were lovely. I look forward to returning!"

  • Fantastic view of Meeks Bay!

"The property was as described and very easy check in. We loved the location and the fantastic views. The property was much bigger than we were expecting. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • Cute cabin over Meeks Bay

"Older cabin, but well taken care of with a few updates. We only had 3 people staying there, so didn't use the basement bedrooms at all, however rooms were spacious, beds comfortable. The living room couch and bathroom rugs were quite worn, but soft and functional. The temperature had dropped quite significantly (first week of October, high in the 40's) so we used the wood-burning fireplace, but we could have just turned up the heat. Everything (kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, garage) was in working order, clean and accurate to the listing description. The owner was quick to reply and provided easy instructions for access, they also had a binder listing locations of local hikes, biking trails, restaurants, and various other things to do around town. The view from the cabin was perfect and from the back of the cabin, there's only houses below (so no worries about strangers peering the in the windows!) If you want to check out both the north and south side of Lake Tahoe, this is a great location to stay since it's in-between the two."
