  • Beautiful Property in the heart of Tahoma

"Well, I would of given this 5 stars, but when I first went on VRBO to inquire about this lovely Chalet, the price stated $419.00 average nightly....however, when I booked the property it went up $100.00 dollars....I went on VRBO right after I booked it, and noticed the price change......I was Not happy about that since I was charged the "new" rate and couldn't do anything about it. On the bright side, Corinne the owner, was over the top on the extra amenities that she provided.....Maybe, that came from the extra $100.00 dollars we paid. We loved our stay there none the less......downside, steep stairs to get to bedrooms....main house bedroom was upstairs, but you had to go downstairs for the bathroom. For older people, that can be a downside. The studio bedroom, adjacent to the main house, has steep stairs going up to the bedroom, however, bathroom was on same level.... The whole house was beautiful and amenities would Not have to bring a single thing except your suitcase and belongings... Corinne was a joy to talk to and an amazing decorator!!!!!!"

  • Laid back summer fun

"Loved this little cabin! It is cozy and small, and fairly bare bones while keeping many conveniences...just what I like! Upon arrival you need to walk down to the cabin - unlike most other homes which sit closer to the road, which was wonderful because there is really nothing between you and the lake. We spent most of our time outside on the decks, grilled and ate all meals there, and took naps in the "fire pit area" (we never did have a fire though, it was warm out). We were able to bring our paddle boards and put in right at the boulder-y beach. The area is perfect, many great hiking opportunities close by and also close to restaurants and stores. The view is of course spectacular from every window (even the bathroom that looks out to the wooded area). David the owner was laid back and easy to talk with about arranging our stay. Thanks! I hope to return again!"

  • Very enjoyable!

"This was our first time staying in this vacation home and it was perfect! The description of this house is exactly what you get. It was very clean and cozy but plenty of room for my family! Great location! Very quiet street, and my grandson could play and ride his bike out front. Anyone would definitely enjoy this place! Thank you!"

  • This was a beautiful cabin.

"I was so happy to see that this cabin was just as beautiful in person, as it was online. I appreciated the note and bottle of wine we were greeted with upon arrival and all the little things-hand soaps in each bathroom, PLENTY of towels, soft linens, a new sponge, nice plates, glasses, and cookware....It was a perfect stay and we will be back."
