  • Beautiful place, very responsive manager

"To echo other folks, Sioux-z was fabulous. We booked very close to the date of stay and she turned around the contracts and arrangements quickly. She was available by text, phone and email to answer questions and solve whatever we needed ..from how to work the washing machine to getting a broom to sweep. She was patient, professional and helpful. The place was lovely, modern and clean with a great open floor-plan downstairs for visiting, cooking, and hanging out with friends. It was nice to have the bedrooms separate upstairs. Our unit was ready with towels, extra shampoo, wireless internet, etc. and the all basic kitchen tools needed for cooking. It's a comfortable 5-6 blocks walk to the beach, pier and restaurants. Mercedes Grill is on the way to the beach and has a delicious citrus salmon. The added bonus was having a washing machine and dryer on site.. helped a lot traveling with a small child. The only real challenge with the stay was light and noise during normal sleeping hours. If you are used to sleeping in the dark and in relative'll want an eye mask and earplugs. The location was busier than I expected and while the master bedroom has a beautiful big window with a lovely screen that is great during the day, it doesn't block the street light effectively at night. On many nights, Saturday night, in particular, there's also a lot of noisy activity well past midnight and the business traffic starts by 6-630am. It was an unfortunate circumstance for us that the city was also re-piping the canals and we were tortured by serious construction noise, usually starting at 630am and lasting for several hours, but luckily that stopped by day 4. Once that ended and I was able to purchase a mask and earplugs, i got great rest at night in the very comfortable bed. Overall, a really lovely place with magnificent service from Sioux-z and very kind assistance from the housekeeper."

  • 2nd stay here

"pros: great location for tourist activities, but quiet apartment. no noise from neighbors. located right on hollywood blvd near walk of fame. Close to metro. well equipped. easy check in and out. free parking. Washer and dryer. Building has a pool ( too cold to swim in in October but was great when we were here in April) and hottub with nice tables/ pool chairs, firepit. cons: people have obviously not been super careful staying here. towel rack missing in master bath, sofabed broken-- works well as a sofa but not as a bed. small dent where doorknob meets the wall. dryer takes a long time to dry"

  • A little bit of Heaven in Hollywood

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was an absolutely wonderful stay in Villa Valentino! A couple of blocks from Hollywood Blvd, and yet so secluded, it seems as though you're a million miles away! Loved everything about our apartment (7-up)!"
