  • Great house in a great location

"The beach house was clean and well maintained with a view that did not disappoint. Beautiful kitchen and living room, plenty of space in the bedrooms and garage. Only complaints is that there was some modest construction noise from next door, but this seems to be the case everywhere near the water. The beach and all the best restaurants in MB were within easy walking distance. We would definitely stay there again."

  • Perfect for a stay right on Abbot Kinney.

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the perfect location for anyone wanting to stay on or close to Abbot Kinney. Its clean, easy to find and a perfect location. The one thing we had an issue with is the parking spot in the back was blocked by construction the entire stay but parking on the street wasnt a problem for us for the specific duration of our stay."

  • Great for families or anyone that likes the beach

"We rented this beautiful home from the 27th of December to the 3rd of January and had a great time with our young family. My 18 month old loved that he could walk around and we loved that there were no stairs to worry about! Everything was very clean (immaculate fridge, counters, cutlery etc) and organized and we never struggled to find anything we could have needed. There were toys for the kids for the beach and loads of towels and chairs. We simply packed up and walked down and could have 30 min or 3 hours at the beach without issue. The beds were awesome – comfortable and big! The bathrooms were perfect for us. The guest bathroom was great for bathing young kids and the master en suite had a great shower with amazing water pressure. (These things matter on vacation!) The location is really the best part though. You can't really top a spot where you could open the front door, tilt your head ever so slightly to the left and catch a gorgeous west coast sunset every evening. Of course there is furniture outside if you want to watch it seated, with a book, and a glass of wine. I preferred to do it with a 4 year old on my shoulders and an 18 month old in my arms and my wife at my side. It was so great being able to share the beauty of California with our kids so easily. We did the walk down the Strand to Manhattan Beach Blvd just about every day and could walk to breakfast or dinner as we pleased with lots of great dining less than 1km away. Our rental car company didn’t hold our reservation when our arrival flight was delayed, but once we got to the house, we considered not getting a car at all except for a trip to Disneyland with the kids. You really wouldn’t need one if all you want to do is go for strolls and relax. The grocery store is a $4 Uber away and even going to Wholefoods a bit further only cost me about $12US return with about 5 full shopping bags – we were set for the week! The neighbours on both sides were very nice and loaned us some tools for an afternoon. Others we bumped into were very sweet to the kids. It has a great community feel. Jane was great - whenever we needed anything, she responded immediately. We didn't need much so I feel like we hardly tested her - but I know she would have come through based on her great response time for the couple menial questions I did have. We would love to go back."
