  • Very clear and nice house

"A really nice house. We had a great time there. You have everything, you need. And the area is great: quiet, but close to the shopping centers, restaurants. We have really enjoyed our holiday!"

  • My first "home" in LA

"I recently relocated to LA from Philadelphia for work. My stay was for one month in the 2 bedroom apartment. After staying the previous month at a different VRBO property, I was pleasantly surprised upon my arrival by the accommodations and Jim's greeting. He took the time to familiarize me with the property, and made sure that I knew if I needed anything he was just a text/call away. (Which is not always the case with these arrangements.) He checked in with me throughout my stay as his busy schedule allowed, even inviting me up for a coffee and conversation. He was also flexible with my scheduled departure date, which was very helpful. I have come to think of Jim as a friend after this experience, and hope to keep in touch in the future. The apartment is well appointed with everything you could need for either a short or extended stay. I will start with my personal fav, the steam shower. What an amazing way to start each day! Bedrooms are neat and clean, with nice new sheets and blankets. The second bed is a Murphy bed, which was perfect for making the room multi-purpose as needed. Kitchen has all you need to cook a great meal. I had Friends-giving there and cooked a meal that was enjoyed by all. Even used the BBQ grill in the courtyard! Speaking of the courtyard, I think this is what made this place feel most like "home" to me. My guests and I enjoyed relaxing outside surrounded by tall bushes and plant-life creating the feeling of being in your own private garden. There are patio tables for eating outside, furniture for relaxing and watching a full moon (In my case the Super Moon), or just having a conversation over a glass of wine with a friend or loved one. I also liked the added piece of mind being on a property that was completely fenced/gated in. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my choice to stay at this property. Thanks again Jim for helping make my transition to LA a smooth one!! Best, Jonathan Was the listing description accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc ? • Quiet & Roomy

"Our family of five adults all greatly enjoyed our stay at this fantastic older home in the quiet, quaint hills of Hollywood Heights. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-decorated, and the beds were very comfy. The location could not have been better! It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood to hardly hear a thing, day or night, even with the windows open... but yet within walking distance of the Walk of Fame! The garage was indeed snug, but we were able to carefully fit a midsize sedan into it. We especially loved the large living room and the winding staircase to the bedrooms downstairs. When we return to LA, we will likely seek to stay at Kevin's place again. We had a wonderful visit!"

  • Fantastic Stay in Toluca Lake

"What a wonderful time we had during our stay at Suzanne and Ethan's home. While our day's may have been spent out seeing the sights the early morning's and the late evenings were spent out by the most wonderful pool and hot tub one could imagine. Close enough to most attractions without having to drive for hours but yet the gardens and pool area were very secluded and gave a sense of being out away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Toluca Lake was a charming little area and we had hoped to see some celebrities jogging by and while we did see a lot of people out and about we recognized no one, but we kept hoping. I would certainly return to this house in the future as I can't really think of any negatives we encountered. The home itself was a dream, well decorated, maintained and the art work inside was fantastic. If you get a chance to vacation in LA, by all means make this one high on your list"
