  • Perfect stay at the beach haus!

"First impressions of the property were completely on par with the pictures. Property was lovely and bright, clean and airy and the size very comfortable for two people. Location of the beach haus was great with 10 minute cycle to the beach (bike cruisers included) which were a great way to get around. Close to local amenities such as Wholefoods and plenty of bars/restaurant options on Lincoln at the end of the street. Going a little further Abbott Kinney provides a wealth of shops, boutiques and restaurants all of great quality. We recommend the Clutch bar on Lincoln as one of our favourites. We spent a few day trips in Santa Monica which you can cycle to from the beach front cycle path in about 20 minutes. This can connect you with the Metro train to downtown LA which we also did one day making for an easy trip to see Holllywood! Another easy way to get around if you want to avoid driving is using Lyft for taxi rides who are running some great deals on free credit at the moment. The owners were great in looking after our needs and were close-by enough so that anything we needed we could just ask. Their pet dog was a lovely addition with a few morning visits up to us to say hi! :) Overall we had a lovely time in Venice and would recommend the property to any future travelers to the area."

  • Bright Modern Townhouse in Santa Monica

"We enjoyed staying in this bright and modern townhouse with beautiful landscaping and private off street parking. The cute and calming entry courtyard contained seating to relax at the end of the day and included a bar-b-q. The host Paul was very helpful and accommodated our needs and requests. The unit was very clean, and most necessities were provided such as spices, coffee or laundry soap which was very convenient and appreciated. This town home is located in a quiet neighborhood about a 15 min walk to the beach and is conveniently located to many attractions such as the Santa Monica pier, Abbot Kinney Avenue, 3rd St promenade, Shutters on the Beach, Main St, many restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommended and if in Santa Monica again we would definitely want to stay here."

  • Great location, nice size place and very clean

"What a great vacation! We had 2 families of 4 stay in the upper duplex for a senior spring break trip for 2 of the kids. There was plenty of room for all of us. The location was awesome!! Only a block from the beach. You can see the beach and the ocean from the balcony and the roof top deck. There is a little rental shop right there on the beach too where we rented surf boards and wet-suits a couple of the days. Also very, very close to a couple restaurants & a great little taco place. There are also so many stores and restaurants within walking distance in both directions on the boardwalk. My very first impression when we walked in and took a tour of the duplex is how clean it looked and smelled. The property owners, Mike & Sally, are great and were very friendly and easy to work with when it came to booking and for any questions we had when we called during our stay. They are very accommodating!! One of the property managers stopped over during our stay to fix the fire tower on the roof top deck and he was very friendly as well. We chose the Venice Beach area because the high school seniors wanted to be someplace fun and exciting. Venice is that for sure!! There is so much to do in that area! Thank you for a perfect vacation Mike & Sally! We will keep you in mind when we travel to the area again!"
