  • Memory of a lifetime

"One word. Wow. Opening the front door, you look thru a fabulous living room, past the grand piano, out the French doors, through one of several decks/patios/pergolas across a rolling expanse of manicured lawn, surrounded by intense beautiful flower cover, to see the sky blue, crystal clear Pacific Ocean. Wow. We were so bowled over by the very first view that we took pictures of each person's face as they walked in for the first time. The house was immaculate. The pool was pristine. The ping pong table and putting green kept adults and kids entertained. We slept with the windows open- falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. Twice we had an awesome chef, Marcel Cocit, cook for us in the professional kitchen. Our only decision was which outdoor dining area to use! Cary Moore with Hidden Chic Villas was attentive, responsive, professional, and helpful with even the smallest details. We are already making arrangements to utilize her services in other regions, both in the US and internationally. The homes she represents are fabulous. This trip was a celebration- one my family will always remember, thanks to Cary and this beautiful home. The location "to all things Malibu" could not have been better. Awesome!"

  • Awesome Location, steps to the beach

"This was our second stay at this cottage, we had stayed here last year for a week. Our son lives in Redondo Beach and this cottage is perfect for our visit with him. The cottage is clean, and roomer than expected with a large walk in closet with shelves to stay organized. There is a parking space next to the cottage, which is great that you do not need to park on the street. Location is truly only steps to the beach. There is a refrigerator, toaster oven and Keurig coffee maker, dishes, cups, glasses, silverware along with linens and even beach towels. You only need to bring yourself, clothes to wear and food to eat. The description is accurate. Morris and Lynn responded to our questions promptly and were very accommodating. We spent time at the beach, walked to the Villages, drove to Reagan Museum, and visited Balboa Island at Newport Beach. We hope to be back next year."

  • What A Nice Get-away

"My husband and I came to LA to house-hunt and we decided to stay at this Hollywood Hills property. It was a great decision on our part. Joshua was extremely friendly and hospitable. He made our stay perfect. We even ended up forgetting a mobile phone and Joshua promptly had it overnighted to us. The house was lovely and well-appointed. No complaints what so ever. I would definitely stay here again and will definitely recommend it to our family and friends."

  • Perfect Family Getaway

"We came down from San Francisco to LA to visit family for a few days. We had our 11-year old son with us. The house is almost 100 years old and has tons of charm (claw foot tub in one bathroom). The details in each room were charming and thoughtful with each room painted in different colors with comfortable furniture. The house, kitchen and bathrooms were clean. The house had everything we needed - blankets, laundry, lots of towels, fast wifi, dishes, pots, pans, hair dryer and coffee maker (most important!). The house is private but still close to the beach and restaurants. We walked to the beach playgrounds and the Santa Monica Pier every day, which was fun for our child. We were able to park easily due to the parking spot. There were great restaurants on Main Street (a block away).  Dog Town Coffee is a must.  We even ventured a little further away to get sandwiches at Bay Cities (per a friend's recommendation).  Important to us - the house and neighborhood were quiet at night and we were able to get good sleep. . The location really worked for us. We went to a hip Venice Beach restaurant one night and drove twice a day to our relatives in Pacific Palisades (13 minutes!). The owner introduced herself to us and was helpful with restaurant recommendations and ideas for us to do with our kid - thank you for that. We had a car with us. But, we needed to take Ubers a couple of times, and there were many drivers available to us close by. So, that was a nice unexpected perk. We will be renting this house again!"
