"Our family of 5 really enjoyed staying at this house. The views are spectacular. The glass doors open almost completely. The house is clean and comfortable. It has everything you need. The hot tub on the roof is perfect for relaxing. We didn't use the sauna but it looked great too. The drive up the canyon can be intimidating but breathtaking views and fun. The area has everything in close distance along PCH. The neighborhood is secluded and safe. It is a great place for hikers. Sarah was a great host. We communicated by texts and phone. Thank you for the use of your unique home in Malibu, we had a blast."

  • Great Roof Deck and Location

"Had a fun weekend with friends on Eucalyputs. The roof deck was such a great place to hang out and plan the day on Catalina and using the dumbwaiter is fun. Close to town so you can walk to dinner and all the fun stuff in town. Also close enough to walk up to the hiking trails, so take advantage of that. Plenty of space for sleeping, not the ideal place to cook, but we weren't interested in cooking anyways. Would definitely return to this place! Thanks!"

  • Fantastic getaway...hidden in the Hills but minutes away from the best of Sunset, WeHo, and L.A.

"We have rented vacation homes for over 25 years and all over the world. Quite simply, this home, its amenities, location and helpful yet unobtrusive owner make it one of the best vacation rental experiences we have had. This property has a nearly perfect location for anyone seeking both elusive privacy and proximity to L.A.'s hottest locales. From the moment you enter this richly appointed and art-filled modern California hideaway, literally tucked into the hills above Sunset, you know you've arrived at someplace special. It's not until you experience a day enjoying the privacy of the pool and zen-inspired outside garden area followed by dinner at Pace, Bouchon, Fig & Olive or one of the many nearby destination restaurants or clubs that you realize just how special. We enjoyed the full spectrum of offerings from a quick and delicious breakfast at Cheebo's to lunch among the glitterati at Chateau Marmont and dinner at fabulous Nobu. Also, don't forget, you are nestled among the historic homes of Laurel Canyon...reading online about the lush history of the surrounding homes and your "neighbors" while there enriches the experience. During our stay we had both busy days away from the house and days we did not leave. The variety of experience one can have nearby and yet the feeling of home that this location provides is really quite unique. When in the house or out in the pool/garden area you are afforded absolute privacy and tranquility. Head down the hill and experience all that West Hollywood and Beverly Hills have to offer. The owner takes great pride in what she has assembled here and offers her guests every amenity and convenience as well as local tips upon your arrival. While remaining available via phone or text if you have questions or comments she importantly respects your privacy and does not intrude upon you during your stay...a perfect combination in our experience. One final note: we'd ask, selfishly yet respectfully, that you treat it as your own and take good care of it as we are looking forward to our return. Even though there are many places to choose from, and we like variety, this is a place worthy of return and we plan on doing so soon."

  • Very comfortable vacation home

"Stayed for a week in june; mature couple and was joined by adult son. Two bedrooms and two baths, full kitchen with all new appliances; large washer and dryer (would be helpful to have a little soap so you wouldn't have to buy that). Two daughters in area so they came in whenever they wanted to visit. Complete kitchen with almost everything need (just need a pitcher or two). Pillows in bedroom much too soft and should be replaced. Aside from these minor discomforts very comfortable. Lovely lovely front yard with privacy. Steps, without rail, up to house (4-5) so difficult for husband. And directions for gate in and out of yard (have to push it manually) can be off putting. Met David the owner who seemed quite amenable to any suggestions. Had car so location was good for us. near most things. All in all, would certainly recommend."
