  • Awesome house. All the comforts of home. Conveniently located.

"We loved the house. The traffic took a little getting used to, but we quickly adapted. In easy walking distance of restaurants. Parking depended on the time of day. Beds were comfy, bathrooms adequate, nice towels, soaps, washer & dryer coin operated, but not expensive. A/C , cable tv, all the comforts you could ask for. Kitchen had all your basic needs. Coffee was a welcome sight after getting in late the first night. The house is adorable old house decorated with such pretty antiques. The view from kitchen was spectacular. Easily see the Hollywood sign. Decks & outside sitting was great. Tim & Robin were easily available for any needs & a very gracious hosts. Only suggestion would be a list of nearby places to get food & restaurants. Tried Uber & it was great experience too. Would highly recommend to stay!"

  • Amazing Place and Location!!

"I can't say enough good things about this property and its owners. It was the perfect place for our family meet up to visit my sister and brother-in-law and their new baby (who also stayed in the house). The owners (and the property manager) were amazingly hospitable and welcoming. The house was roomy, warm and had a perfect, relaxing family feel. My kids (2 under 5) loved the bunk beds and Curious George books. My two year old even slept in a bed for the first time the whole week with no problems (which I attribute to the good karma of the house). The location is perfect, perfect, perfect. As an East Coaster, I like walkability which is hard to come by in LA but this house was a block away from Main Street which has coffee shops, ice cream places, restaurants, nail salons, shops and a lot of other cool stuff. It's also walkable to some cool places in Venice and a very short drive to Abbot Kinney, the 3rd Street promenade, etc. It was also very close to the beach and walkable to the Venice Boardwalk (where we rented bikes) and the Santa Monica Pier (about a mile or so North). There was even a playground on the beach about 5 minutes away from the house. I've used VRBO many times and this was one of my best experiences. I don't think you can ask for a better location for a vacation in LA. And you can't ask for a nicer, more responsive owner. If you want to stay in a place that makes you wish you lived in Santa Monica, this is the place. I would highly recommend!"
