  • This is a gem! Tastefully decorated, immaculate

"I was so impressed with this cottage. Very clean and well-stocked- bright and full of natural sunlight; it is in a great area- within walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. Rich was a delightful host, always available and genuinely interested in how our stay was going. We stayed for a month and it truly felt like "home!""

  • Lovely home with fabulous pool!

"This is a lovely spacious home in a quiet area. The pool was wonderful with a few different areas around it to sit and relax after busy days spent sightseeing. The house was close to restaurants and shopping area, and coffee shops at Calabasas Common which was great. We had a really enjoyable time at Sarah's home and would recommend it to fellow travellers."

  • Privately situated at the back of a very nice property, the guesthouse had everything we needed.

"It is clean, new and spacious! Quiet and secure neighborhood. The location was perfect for us while visiting our daughter in Sherman Oaks, and hiking in the Santa Monica mountains. Sarah and John, the owners, were very responsive to our request for reading lamps (which are now in the unit) and when the internet was down (we were there during a serious rainstorm). There is a good shower with lots of hot water, and since we were there in February, we used the efficient heating system. The towels are thick and new. The bed was a bit firm for me, but my husband liked it and I adapted. Lots of closet space. The stacked washer/dryer was great to have. We did not use the pool, but if it were warmer we would have. We picked lemons from their many fruit trees and made lemonade! The driveway is steep, but at the top is plenty of parking space. Woodland Hills has lots of restaurants (try The Baker's Baker, Roy's, Lily and Leo, Joey). Ralph's supermarket is a few blocks away. We mostly drove on Ventura, rather than the 101, less hassle and more interesting. Don't miss the very scenic Mullholland Hwy. (the wine trail in Malibu). At night a hoot owl gave us a lullaby. We'll be back."

  • excellent house with everything you need already thought of

"This was a fantastic house. Our family travelled from Scotland and Australia to spend 10 days in LA. We found the house to be very clean, comfortable with plenty of space for us all to enjoy. We were a group of 6 adults and 1 child (10 years old). The neighborhood is really nice with local shops close by. The pool and outdoor area were fantastic and the home cinema was well used in the evenings. Our host was lovely and was on hand to meet us on our arrival (even though we were 2 hours later than expected). We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a house rental in LA and should we return to LA we will be sure to book this house again!"
