  • Had a great stay at the "loft".

"DW and I were very satisfied with the loft apartment in Kelseyville. We were passing through the area and spent 2 days here. Very nice value, would return again. Church, grocery, restaurants close and all good. Thanks so much."

  • Great little hideaway!

"We stayed at the guesthouse with another couple when we were in Hopland for a wedding. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house, so we had plenty of privacy. The house is secluded and very peaceful, with great vineyard views. The kitchen is well equipped. Two cats patrol the property and are very friendly. If we ever find ourselves in Hopland again, this is where we'll stay!"

  • Wonderful wonderful time

"My boyfriend and I stayed at the lake house for a week after Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The interior did not disappoint and the pictures do not do it justice. The family/living area is inviting and cozy. The kitchen is big and as stated in other reviews had every kind of kitchen gadget/tool/pan you could need. My boyfriend loved the deep stainless steel kitchen sink and said he has always wanted one at his home. The overhead lights and ceiling fans with the “swamp” cooler provided more than enough air for our summer retreat. The bathroom with its walk in marble shower reminded me of our room at the Venetian in Vegas. Both bedrooms have large televisions and between cable/Netflicks and Amazon prime we did not need to even look at the DVDs that are in the library. The house is perfect for a family, couple or a girls/guys getaway. But that's the inside, for me the best part were the lake views. You can look out the living room or go out on the deck or the pier and just marvel at the beauty. I could sit out on the pier for days (and I did) just enjoying the ducks, birds and boaters on the lake. The pier has a comfortable bench and picnic table at the end which is hard to see from the pictures. We unnecessarily brought our lawn chairs which we only used on the boat landing. We chose this house for its pier as I wanted to find a place where my boyfriend could fish all day/night if he wanted. It was perfect. If you are a fisherman, you will love the fishing just off the pier! My boyfriend said he is now a better fisherman from what he learned after catching over 20 black bass and a boatload of perch (so you see he did practically fish day & night). We love the gas/electric grill, and wished we could have used the deck more, but the midges do like to come out after dusk, harmless but annoying. So we preferred to dine inside for dinners. The only other issue we encountered was finding the house itself. We got a bit turned around with our GPS, so it was important to have the paperwork from the owner to guide you to the front door. Once there you might not want to leave, because that is how we felt. It is our hope to return soon!"
