  • Property is amazing perfect get away for serene relaxation

"It was my birthday weekend and I couldn't have spent it at a better place. The property has so much space and privacy. We really took advantage of all the house had to offer including the spa and swing in the front of the house. The views are AMAZING!! We spent a lot of time on the deck during daylight hours. The only thing I regret is not staying longer. Property owner was very accommodating and always available during our stay. I will stay at the property again for sure."

  • Rainy weekend at Jade's Tower!

"Had a great time even though the weather did not cooperate. Great views from all windows. Home was super clean! Had everything we needed. Walked to town. Went horseback riding on the beach. Watched movies on a rainy afternoon. Perfect for relaxing. Gardens around the home are amazing. Lots of TLC evident. Had a great time."

  • Ocean Front Cottage with a Stunning View

"If we could give 6 stars we most certainly would! This cottage has an amazing and beautiful setting overlooking the rocky coast, with access to the beach. We spent 3 nights over a stormy rainy period and we felt so comfortable and tucked. Watching the waves from the front windows was just amazing. The cottage was described perfectly. Very private, nicely furnished, clean, well-maintained, well-stocked plus it has a very comfortable bed. Oh and a fun selection of movies as well. Our hosts couldn't have been nicer, yet they left us alone so we felt we had the cottage to ourselves. We were welcomed with wonderful bread, jam, butter and coffee and lots of information on local attractions and places to eat. We cannot wait to go back!!!"

  • Birthday Getaway

"When my husband asked what I wanted for my birthday, my response was to visit a house on White Water Cove that I saw on VRBO, near the town of Elk, where we had a picnic a few years before while visiting Mendocino. We contacted Ann, who was amazing to work with and the rest is now history. We arrived after dark and were greeted by a bottle of wine from local vineyards and an amazing, immaculate house. If you have ever watched "Fixer Uppers" on TV, you would think this house could easily have come from their program. A Nantucket interior with lots of attention to detail - warm throws on the couches, tasteful art, shells and hand blown glass bottles, antique ships lantern and a set fireplace that needed only a match. Ann had added a Christmas touch with potted poinsettias and a garland across the fireplace mantel. We awoke the next morning to the wonderful view of waves breaking in the cove and through a sea cave and the expanse of the Pacific - while still laying in bed. Comfy beds, unbelievable view - I got up and ran outside to take an early morning picture and went back to bed with a book. There are no dark areas in this house. The master bedroom, kitchen and living room areas open to ocean views, while the second bedroom has a garden view with many birds. Other areas are lit by skylights. The expansive decks were as fantastic as the pictures showed. We spent our mornings at the cove house and afternoons hiking through state parks (Russian Gulch was our favorite), watching the Ft. Bragg Holiday Parade of Lights with cups of coffee or coco in hand (most of the town was either lining the streets or in the parade), visiting the Festival of Lights in the Botanical Gardens, hitting the North Star Nursery for gifts and trying out different restaurants along the waterfront. You will find everything you need in this house, from the gourmet kitchen, to the library with books about the area, CD's for music, recommendations for restaurants and places to visit, flashlights in every room and even a first aid kit. We met the housekeeper as we were leaving, a delightful woman who also cleans the lighthouse museum. Her comments pretty much summed it up. " Tough job in a place as beautiful as this!" LOL This house is truly well loved by its owners and visitors, us included. Cathy V"
