  • Go for the view

"The view from this home is outstanding & well worth the stay. The house itself could use some updating & a fresh coat of interior paint. There were a few missing/burnt out lightbulbs & the makeup mirror in the master bathroom is so close to the only electrical outlet that it is very difficult to use to outlet. The kitchen is quite small & landlocked. Definitely no more than 2 small people can be in there at a time. The living room however, is perfect for entertaining. My husband loved it & would go back in a heartbeat. I would be more inclined to try another one of the many offerings in this wonderful part of the world."

  • Could have been a five !

"This property has a fantastic location with views to die for. I would have given it five stars if not for a few small problems. First of all, we had really looked forward to fires in the beautiful round fireplace in the middle of the great room. However, there was no firewood. We called the owner and apparently the wood could not be delivered because of a storm earlier in the week. Major bummer. The heater wasn't working in the middle bedroom but that wasn't too much of a problem. The last thing that did bother us though was not being able to get the TV working even though we had a techie guy working on it. We could not watch the football playoff games that we were looking forward too. Another major bummer. So, the potential for greatness is there. Maybe you'll be luckier."

  • Phenomenal place to stay

"We just returned from our second stay at SeaEscape and it was just as good, if not better, than the first stay. SeaEscape provides a perfect sanctuary from every day life. The minute we walk in, we feel right at home. Seamus and Natalia have done a phenomenal job at providing a comfortable place for others to enjoy. They have truly thought of everything. The beds are comfortable, the furniture is cozy, the fireplace is romantic, the view is indescribable, the hot tub is relaxing. There is everything you need to cook your meals in the kitchen, just bring your food. The property is nice and private, you truly can escape it all. Seamus is such a pleasure to work with, checking in to make sure everything is as expected, and always quick to answer questions. My husband and I have decided to make it an annual trip (or more frequent if possible). If you are looking for a place to relax and just take in the beauty of the Mendocino Coast, SeaEscape is where you want to be."
