  • Family Trip with 11 month old and 3 year old

"We enjoyed the property. The house was perfect for our little family. The crib fit perfect behind the small wall in the master bedroom. My youngest was able to nap while the oldest played in the other room or ran around outside. We were able to cook every meal at the house, they had everything we needed. The hike over the dunes wasn't too far to the ocean, my 3 year old hiked it there and back. It was so peaceful having the entire shoreline to ourselves. The kids loved the sand dunes. The 3 year old slid her butt down the hills and played in the soft, loose sand for hours. There were a few apple trees, it was fun for my daughter to pick a snack while playing in the big yard outside. They had a phone and internet. And they had a decent selection of VHS tapes, not too suited for the kiddos tho. We also brought our dog. That was a very special treat. We got to take her on the skunk train with us too. We would definitely recommend this to friends. The owners were great to work with!"

  • Sunset Point

"The views from the house are amazing!! The only thing that bothered me was the price per night. We were quoted $350. 00 per night. It actually came out closer to $500. 00 a night, once taxes, booking fees, cleaning fees and other incidentals are addded. It was a beautiful pice of property. Next time I would split cost with another couple."

  • Amazing

"This place is amazing. Leslie was very thorough with instructions and she was available to reach, even at 11 PM. Long story short, we locked ourselves out and Leslie came to our rescue immediately. Lifesaver! The house is very charming. It has a certain lovely, rustic vibe to it. The views are absolutely incredible. Nothing like sitting in a hot tub and watching monster waves crash into rocks right in front of you. The place is very private, neighbors are far away on the other side of the cliffs. One of the most memorable moments was waking up in bed, opening my eyes and the first thing I see is waves crashing along the coastline through the french doors. Not a bad way to start the day! Fort Bragg is only a 20 minute drive from the house so you can go into town and pick up anything you need or go see Glass Beach and many other cool things the town has to offer. I would highly recommend the Shaanti Bungalow. It was a magical retreat!"

  • Unique property

"Great location to town. The owners have everything you need. They are right next door in case you need them. It is an older property so the carpet and bedding looks it. The heat didn't travel to the top level well so it was cold. The garden is lovely."
