  • Fantastic!

"We stayed for one month - the month of April 2016. By far, this is the best rental we have every stayed in, in Eureka! Rahi is a gracious and kind host and very responsive to any questions or concerns. The place was very clean and well stocked. The view is stunning! Both my husband and I said we could just move in permanently. We will definitely book this again when we return! Awesome, awesome! Jane Callahan"

  • As advertised , Great simple cottage near the Redwood Parks

"Forest Haven was exactly what my Girlfriend and I were looking for while on a romantic getaway up to the Redwood Parks of Northern California. The cottage was clean and private and centrally located to the hiking trails we most wanted to check out (i.e. Patricks Point, Prairie Creek, etc.). The hot tub was little bit of a older model but in perfect working order, a great way to end the day. The kitchen area was great: the stove top and oven worked well , there were plenty of pots and pans for cooking. The market down the road is a full service "supermarket" and we found everything we needed for delicious meals at home there. The Propane grill in the yard was brand new. The wood burning stove keep the place toasty warm and the bed was extremely comfortable. You CAN hear the rooster in the morning but he is far enough away that we didn't find it problematic for sleeping in, and thought it added to the "country charm", as well getting a visit from the roaming pack of chickens while we drank coffee in the front yard every morning. The cottage immediately felt like home. I would highly recommend Forest Haven to friends looking for a affordable private country getaway. Its not the Ritz Carlton but its cozy and close to beach and Parks and all a couple or small family should need for a few days checking out this amazing park of the country."

  • One of a kind spot on the coast

"Two couples - mature, grown kids - looking for a great spot to enjoy a mid-summer week: where to go, off the beaten path, with a pace that allows a reset and recharge? We found the answer at SeaSpray. The cool days were a stark contrast to the summertime heat that was everywhere else; the accommodations were everything described on the site, and even more. Just yards from the deck and hot-tub, the edge of the bluff drops to the rocks and beach, with the calming effect of the Pacific waves running 24/7. Inside, the house is meticulously assembled, resembling a high-end yacht in its well-designed layout and accoutrements. The hospitality exhibited by the property manager was thoughtful and skilled, from the booking to the departure. When our plans point us back to the Northern California coast, we'll definitely be back at SeaSpray!"
