  • Great Stay in Huntington

"This is a very nice home with tons of space. We easily slept 11 people in this home and still had room for more. The three bathrooms made the stay easy as well, with no fighting over the bathroom use, and reduced the time it took for everyone to get ready in the morning. The fact that there was two parking spaces made the stay easy as well, as the street tends to get pretty full right outside this property. We did have 4 cars, but we were able to condense down to only two cars for most of our site seeing adventures. We took day trips to Huntington beach, Newport beach and Disneyland - All really close to this location. We also drove across the city to the museums in La Brea, visited Venice and Santa Monica Piers and Beaches, as well as shopped in China Town. We loved the fact that the grocery store was right across the street to stock up on food items, and some of the best restaurants in town are right by the grocery store as well (if you need a night off from cooking). We also had fun walking the dog around the well maintained neighborhood with the kids, and going to the playground at the school (while it was open for the summer). The back yard is dusty and does back right up to a semi busy road, but we felt safe during our stay, and enjoyed hanging out a night in the back yard. We hit up the BBQ in the back yard for a family diner for sure. The fireplace was not working, but it was the middle of summer, so we did not care about that much. This place also has AC, which came in great in the upstairs rooms trying to sleep on a hot summer night!! That was a big plus!"

  • Good central location.

"Our family of five stayed here for a week. It’s a great location, close to attractions and beaches both up and down the coast, from Long Beach down to Newport and beyond. HB is a very fun and convenient spot to have as a central base for a nice SoCal vacation. The beach there is great for surfing/boogie boards, walking, biking on the paths, etc. I personally recommend going to Crystal Cove State Park to the south, and Naples Island to the north--two of my favorite places! There are 3 cruiser bikes available (bring your own helmet if that’s important to you) which are great to ride along the beach boardwalk. There are also several boogie boards, a beach umbrella and sand toys. There were a few beach chairs available but generally they were heavy and/or broken so we didn't use them. According to my “MapMyWalk” app, it’s 1/3 mile from the front door to the sand on the beach, (add another block or two if you want to cross PCH at a crosswalk). You’ll get your own key code to unlock the door so no need to keep track of a house key, which is great. Off-street parking in the alley. The house itself could be described as “shabby chic”—a bit rundown in the furnishings with an abundance of straight-back chairs both inside and out, but overall very adequate and spacious enough for a family of five. Note that the following items are not provided so you’ll want to bring them with or buy at your earliest convenience: laundry detergent, paper towels/wipes/rags, paper napkins. There are 2 kitchen towels and a new dish sponge provided but that's it. There are plenty of nice bathroom towels and two small beach towels. You need to bring cash or a cashier’s check/money order for the payment upon arrival—no credit cards beyond the initial deposit."

  • Great for family or singles

"I'm from Huntington Beach and knew the area, but if you didn't Gregg will help you. The condo was as promised. It is extremely quiet during the day and at night. I was surprised when I saw that they do take dogs which includes a doggie door. (should have brought my cat). Covered private parking plus parking pass for guests which is helpful since a friend that visited is handicapped. I spent most of the time by myself, however, my daughter and her boyfriend came down the last week. The bedrooms are at the opposite ends which also gives another dimension of privacy. While by myself I felt very secure. I would suggest bringing bikes. It would make it fun riding to the beach or going over to Bolsa Chica reserve. I ventured out walking exploring the neighborhood and stores. Many restaurants, grocery stores, Starbucks, and Bubba Sweets cupcakes that won 2013 Cupcake Wars. Private patio with barbecue was nice too. Thanks Gregg!"

  • Beautiful Condo & Vacation

"So glad we picked this condo for our vacation. The condo was in the best location very close to main street and the beach. We walked everywhere and the owners were so accommodating and great hosts. The condo had a convenient first floor and corner location by the elevator and access door with a great view of the sunsets and peaks of main st. We loved hosting friends there and enjoying the weather. The condo was very clean and comfortable. For the price we were able to get so much more compared to one bedroom listings or a hotel. We can't wait to come back! Oh and we got to bring our dog with us which was a must. Thank you!!"
