  • Castle on top of the world...

"We spent four nights in paradise. Tina was an incredible hostess and "Olive" the cat made us feel like we were at home. The suite in the sky was meticulously maintained with a pelican theme and was extremely comfortable. We rode bikes on the boardwalk, kayaked the bay and took morning strolls on the beach. Highly recommend for a quiet get away."

"Highly recommend this condo. Location is absolutely wonderful, steps away from the pier and the beach, walking distance to tons of great restaurants and shops. Beds were super comfortable. Condo was clean and well maintained. Shannon and her husband were amazing to work with. Only downside is Friday and Saturday nights are a little noisy until later because of the pier. Also, there's a dog in the neighbors yard that howls and barks the entire time it's outside. Honestly, if you can handle a little noise at certain times, this is so well worth it. I've stayed in several condos and beach houses on/near beach and this is by far my new favorite. Highly recommend 😊"

  • Amazing House - Amazing View - Amazing Location

"Our family recently took a long California vacation and traveled from San Francisco down to Encinitas. By far, the house in Encinitas on Neptune Avenue was everyone's favorite place to stay. After multiple hotel rooms, in multiple cities, it was so nice to have our own house for a few days. Raquel's house is absolutely amazing. The view was incredible!!! I'm not sure if our favorite thing to do was sipping coffee on the deck in the morning and watching the surfers and the dolphins, or sipping wine in the evenings and watching the beautiful sunsets. My kids loved having the boogie boards and beach toys too. We ended up skipping Legoland on our last day and spent the whole day on the beach because no one wanted to leave the neighborhood. We actually found a place for the kids to take surfing lessons too. So much fun!! The walk to the beach stairs, Stonestep Beach, is only a short distance and very private. Everyone in Encinitas was so kind. We are a family of 7, and everyone slept comfortably in the house. Whole Foods was just a short distance away, so we quickly made ourselves at home and stocked up the kitchen so we could spend as much time at the house as possible. The only bad part was leaving. :( Thank you Raquel for offering your home. We had an amazing trip to California, and your house was the perfect ending. We hope to come back again! • Weekend

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 12 of us rented this house for a golf/beach weekend. Everything was great. The house was clean, private, and well stocked. The only drawback is the long walk to the beach access, but that's just being nit-picky. We will be back!"
