  • Convienent Location, Lovely Beach House

"Renee's beach house is only two blocks away from moonlight beach, it was the perfect location for someone vacationing from the East Coast. Lofty Cafe is just down the street. And we had no trouble finding street parking. Renee was incredibly helpful from the beginning during the booking process. Everything was simple and in order when we arrived. The house itself is gorgeous - a front patio, outdoor shower, grill, nice cleaning living room, bedrooms, and baths. The decro is lovely and tasteful. Everything was calming, comfortable, and convenient. Thank you so much Renee for a lovely stay. We will be back!"

  • A Great Place to Stay

"We stayed in this cottage for five nights with a two year old and had a great time. This is a homey cottage. It feels more like staying with friends or family than a rental unit. I’ve included a few notes about the layout of the unit that aren’t easy to determine from the photos. When you walk in the front door, you walk into one of the bedrooms. This is the room that has the door that can be closed to separate it from the rest of the unit. There is lots of clothes storage in this room. The washer and dryer are also located there. From the first bedroom you walk into the second bedroom. This room adjoins the kitchen. There is lots of storage in this room as well. There is a tiny little couch in this room that two people could squeeze onto (it's not designed for lounging). There is a step up to the kitchen from the bedroom. The kitchen is a fairly big space but the kitchenette is tiny. There is not a whole lot of storage space for food. There is a dorm fridge with a little freezer (wide enough for a pizza box and we fit a couple of little cartons of ice cream and some frozen veggies in there as well). The sink is bar sized so a bit challenging for washing dishes. We did manage to cook simple meals there. The bathroom is off of the kitchen. It has a lovely shower with beautiful green tiles. The back door opens up onto the patio which has a nice water feature. The garden is a great place to relax. There were beach toys in the unit that we took down to Moonlight Beach which is lovely and great for kids. There is lots of parking there and a great playground. Swami’s Beach is also beautiful. It is a 15-20 minute walk down a steep hill and there are lots of stairs to get down to the beach (it’s not stroller friendly). Vons is the nearby grocery store. It is in walking distance but pretty pricey. Whole Foods is also fairly close by. Carol and Tony were very nice! We enjoyed our stay in Encinitas."

  • Amazing Views

"The owners of this Condo are excellent people to deal with. The Condo is on the bluff and has ocean views from every window. The rooms are spacious and have comfortable furniture for reading or just lounging checking out the ocean views! Sitting on either balcony you can watch, surfer's at Boneyards and Swamii's, dolphins and whales! I surf on a Stand Up Paddle Board and paddle in from Moonlight Beach. There are two underground parking spots but you do not need a car here. You can walk to a multitude of great places to eat, drink and shop. Whole Foods. Swamiis Meditation Gardens and Moonlight Beach are close by. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a gas grille on one of the balcony's. If you are a veteran, like myself, the American Legion Hall is right down the street. A great place to have a drink and shoot some pool with fellow vets! My family has rented from Mary and Mike for four years and hope to continue into the future!"
