  • Girls Trip in AWE!

"The view, view, view...wow! Morning coffee watching all the surfers, yoga on the deck, all meals enjoyed on the beautiful outside table, and amazing sunset cocktails. The house is truly a home away from home, with everything you need, and the beds in each room are SO comfy! GREAT location, super easy beach access and a fun walk into the adorable, eclectic little beach town of Encinitas....coffee shops, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. Our girls trip here is a lock each year for sure now. All seven of us women just LOVED it. And Chris and Eileen were SO helpful with all our questions before arriving, their response time is top notch. Counting the days til we go back ~"

  • Great location and value

"We enjoyed our stay at this condo in Seabluffe -- our first VRBO rental. We feel it was a great value and worked well for our family's needs. It was comfortable and clean with good beds and showers and stocked with what we needed. The condo community is very secure and quiet. Our favorite part was the location -- near the beach and pool in such a cute town! There is no AC, but we got a good breeze through open doors and windows during a week that was mostly cloudy and cooled off a bit. We would definitely recommend it and return."

  • Perfect family gathering home on the beach!

"We all loved staying here for our son's wedding at the Botanic Gardens. There was room for everyone, and the walls are incredibly soundproof, so even with kids playing ping pong downstairs, the rooms above were quiet. We could have used some small dressers so we didn't have to live out of suitcases. The kitchen is well stocked and the home was very clean. We did use the beach below the home and the older kids, ages 6-15, and the adults loved boogie boarding and body surfing. Everyone in our group, ranging in age from 6 months to 71 had a fabulous time!"

  • Amazing House - Amazing View - Amazing Location

"Our family recently took a long California vacation and traveled from San Francisco down to Encinitas. By far, the house in Encinitas on Neptune Avenue was everyone's favorite place to stay. After multiple hotel rooms, in multiple cities, it was so nice to have our own house for a few days. Raquel's house is absolutely amazing. The view was incredible!!! I'm not sure if our favorite thing to do was sipping coffee on the deck in the morning and watching the surfers and the dolphins, or sipping wine in the evenings and watching the beautiful sunsets. My kids loved having the boogie boards and beach toys too. We ended up skipping Legoland on our last day and spent the whole day on the beach because no one wanted to leave the neighborhood. We actually found a place for the kids to take surfing lessons too. So much fun!! The walk to the beach stairs, Stonestep Beach, is only a short distance and very private. Everyone in Encinitas was so kind. We are a family of 7, and everyone slept comfortably in the house. Whole Foods was just a short distance away, so we quickly made ourselves at home and stocked up the kitchen so we could spend as much time at the house as possible. The only bad part was leaving. :( Thank you Raquel for offering your home. We had an amazing trip to California, and your house was the perfect ending. We hope to come back again!
