  • Better than 5 Stars

"The vacation rental market has lots of nice places where you are comfortable and feel that you are in a pretty good place. Then along comes a gem that suddenly makes all those places seem rather ordinary. Such is the case with this perfect Coronado condo. It actually deserves better than 5 stars. Coronado itself is a beautiful island community across the bridge from San Diego. Great expansive beaches with fine sand, beautiful architecture of the homes, good restaurants, safe and clean, the rich history of the Hotel Coronado just up the road and the small town feel and the fact that you can get to all of San Diego's attractions easily make this place one of a kind. It is also home to a navy base and the training centre for the Elite Navy Seals which gives it a unique vibe all on it's own. Sun shines everyday. The Condo itself is marvellous. Large for a one bed one bath. Bathroom has lots of drawers and room. Kitchen is great with big granite counters and good appliances. FULLY equipped. Large living area with views to the Pacific one way and to Glorietta Bay to the other. Sliding full length windows open right up to give the feel of sitting outside. Good comfortable modern furniture, 2 flat screen tvs with HD and great package from Dish network and easy smart tv access to Net Flix. Very comfortable King bed and comfortable pillows, almost as important. Washer and dryer a real bonus. Very secure as their is a gate on the road and 24/7 Doormen and women in the building. Elevator access by Fob. 4 great pools all overlooking ocean. Great workout room and Beach Club. Whenever you think I wonder if the place has something you always find it and more things that surprise you You deal directly with the owner from start to finish. Richard could not be more accommodating. He lives a few miles away and is always accessible if you need help with anything. Already booked for next year. 6 Stars, 4 thumbs up from us. Thanks Richard!"

  • Beautiful Surroundings

"My fiancé and future mother-in-law stayed here for 6 days over the July 4th weekend/week. Everything was "as advertised" if not better! The house is very clean and most of it is newly remodeled including the kitchen, living/dining room and master bathroom. The inside was very nice and comfortable but the outdoor areas are what really made the stay amazing! There are multiple patios and seating areas and the front/ocean facing patios have great ocean views. The back patio is like a gardeners dream - beautiful flowers and foliage everywhere you look - and all kept up to snuff by a gardener. The home is perched up on a hill/bluff and just a short walk to the ocean and beach although the main entrance to the beach is about a mile or so away and may be best to drive and park if you have a lot of beach attire to bring (beach chairs, umbrella, etc.). Being there in Del Mar on a holiday weekend, I would have expected more crowds but it was really easy to get around and to get reservations at all of the good restaurants in town, surprisingly! Also, traffic was never horrific. We went into La Jolla for lunch one day and it was bumper to bumper insane traffic - not fun! The home had a very clean and new-looking hot tub that I used every day! Also, it had DirecTV so we were able to catch a lot of Wimbledon :). Sheets and towels and all of the kitchen tools/spices were available for our use and a washing machine and dryer made it nice to be able to do some laundry while there - detergent included! I would and will go back in a heartbeat - the owners are very nice to work with and very quick to respond to texts/emails. I felt like this was an amazing VALUE - I feel like we got a lot of "bang for our buck"! Great place to stay in Del Mar!"

  • Just an all-around perfect fit!

"The location: 20 to 30 minutes from the airport, close to Balboa Park, Petco Park and The Convention Center. Old Town, Seaport Village, Gaslamp Quarter and Coronado are a very short drive from the unit. Best of all you will find restaurants of all price ranges within a few blocks. Take a 25 minute ride up route 5 to Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve for a short or long hike with wonderful views, and if you visit in the summer there's a great beach there too. The accommodations: clean, comfortable, well equipped and the garden and terrace are just spectacular! Kent the owner lives on the property and is available or not depending on your needs and wants. Service before and during our stay was A+. Hope to come back to San Diego in the future, and would definitely rent from Kent again."

  • Excellent Location & Great, Clean Place

"A colleague and I were in town for a business seminar and Doma Napoli was perfectly located for our meetings during the day and super close to the main street in Little Italy with all the fun restaurants, bars, and cafes. The owner even popped by one evening to make sure we had everything we needed - super sweet! Clean, neat, loads of fluffy white towels - I'd stay there again in a heart beat. I would just plan my days to take advantage of the pool table next time!"
