  • So cozy and relaxing

"i booked this trip back in September for a birthday get away in December with my boyfriend and my fur kids. I don't like to travel much because I have a hard time leaving my dogs with someone, and I really appreciated the fact that nada allowed my dogs to stay in her home. Just a little over a week before our stay, a pipe burst in our kitchen and flooded our home. this trip was especially needed to get out of the house while repairs were being made. Nada was so understanding she let us extend our stay! We stayed at the tail end of fall and it's really starting to get cold in Julian. The house does hold the heat in pretty well. We lit fires, and kept a tea kettle on top of the burning stove to keep it warm. we really didn't need the central heat on because of the fact that it stays pretty cozy inside. We walked our dogs several times a day and got to know some of the friendly neighbors in the neighborhood. Also, the house isn't far from town at all; we got to explore the Main Street and ate at some of the restaurants during our stay. However; the house has almost everything you need to cook if you wanted to make something at home. Nada provides toiletries and fresh towels. The house is fully stocked with blankets sheets and pillows. I brought my own detergent and softener but nada also provides that for your laundry. I'm looking forward to staying again! Nada is such a sweet lady and her home is so beautiful. I had the pleasure of personally meeting her on my stay there. She wanted to make sure we were fully stocked and that the drive way was secure and safe after a huge windstorm knocked a tree out of her driveway. If I had one thing I would change...and really this is so minimal, on my next trip, my boyfriend and I discussed bringing a tv. Although we explored a lot, we still love our movie watching. The tv at the house is a little small. A big plus to it though is that there is wifi!! So if you have a smart device it does hook up to the tv she provides. My Apple TV worked perfectly. We had Netflix, Hulu and we streamed movies from my iPad. We had a great time there I hope to make it back in february! This place really did feel like home. Thank you nada for such a beautiful experience, we can't wait to come back!"

  • Gorgeous serene setting with upscale charm and natural beauty at every turn.

"Sacred Mountain provided the perfect setting for a fall celebration where we hosted dinner parties and breakfast for 25 friends and family during our stay. To a person, they were "blown away" with the beauty of the property and how much it added to our whole event. Many people traveled a long way to be there and without question, the amenities and setting made it incredibly special and worthwhile. We enjoyed using all the levels (decks, lawn area, barn) for music, dining, dancing, stargazing and relaxing at breakfast. Marti and her staff were outstanding with every detail, going out of their way to ensure we had the best possible experience all along the way. Those who stayed on the property with us loved their accommodations, whether in the carriage house, the cottage or the barn. We looked at a lot of properties to hold this event, but when we saw this, we knew immediately it was "us", all confirmed by everyone who spent time there. And we all love the cute town of Julian, a stone's throw away. If you want to be able to rave about where you stayed, this is the place. We recommend Sacred Mountain for almost any occasion when you want to "take it up a notch", and enjoy country, casual, elegant. We hope to go back again for another stay!"

  • Lovely Weekend

"The miner's cabin was authentic and cozy, with clean linens, a sweet kitchen, and beautiful views out the window. We enjoyed playing games thoughtfully included in the furnishings closet, and loved cuddling in the throws and rocking in the rocker. The neighborhood was quiet and the loop road led to a spectacular view of the Salton Sea to the east. We enjoyed hiking in the county park nearby and had several very nice meals in the surrounding area cafes."

  • Wonderful experience.

"Beautiful property, the owner was very accomodating (had a Julian Pie Company pie ready for us when we arrived) and kind. She answered all of our questions. There are Emu's on the property and the kids loved feeding them. Features a beautiful fireplace that is very inviting. The home has an array of antiques and the property has a vintage/antique store on site. Great place to find one of a kind items. It was an unforgettable place and can't wait to plan our next trip."
