  • Beautiful mountain getaway

"Stayed at the Owls Nest with our two kids, age 9 and 6, and my parents for a Christmas getaway. Perfect location with private property to enjoy. The house had plenty of room for 6 of us. Located close to town and all the great sites Julian has to offer. Spent the first day just enjoying the property and all the little details. Woke up to snow on Christmas Eve and enjoyed two full days of our own personal winter wonderland where the kids could sled on the property and play in the snow with absolutely no crowd and your own play space. Beautiful place and we are already planning on returning to Owls Nest. Stacey was friendly, professional and quick to respond, thank you for such a great experience in such an important family holiday trip."

  • Cozy, comfortable cabin

"A lovely location and a very cozy cabin. We would definitely come again. It's far away enough from other homes and places to feel private, but close enough as to not feel totally secluded."

  • Great Experience at Volcan View House!

"So I didn't check in until late Friday 01/20/17 but three of my friends were already there. My friend had mentioned that it was a very nice place. Finally, when my two friends and I arrived, we came in and we agreed that the place "homely" after checking the whole place out! The Volcan House was modern inside and out with a touch of old-school furniture. Volcan View House had the basic necessities for cooking and cleaning, it had a laundry area, and the house had a TON of board games! It made me nostalgic just playing old board games. The Balcony offered a great view and a place to grab some fresh air. Downtown Julian wasn't too far from the house which was very convenient. On a side note my friends and I did think it was a little creepy at night as the living room lacked blinds/ curtains. We were just paranoid that someone could be watching us, haha. Overall, a wonderful home with no problems during our stay. Sharilyn is a great person, very efficient, and kind, so check her place out!"

  • Great Mountain Home

"I loved staying in this home! My dogs were welcomed and they had a HUGE yard to play in. Totally fenced and quiet on New Year's ! It's a comfortable home, and the kitchen is really nicely equipped. I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to bring their pets with them on vacation!"
