  • Excellent location with easy access to La Jolla Village and surrounding areas

"The Spanish Casita in La Jolla was a perfect location for our visit to San Diego. The Casita was walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and coastal area in La Jolla village, and we also walked to La Jolla Shores one afternoon along the coast. We were visiting family in the area, and they were able to stay over one night in the Casita. The accommodations were clean, with a small kitchen that was perfect for our 5-night stay, and a deck that has a gas heater for the cool nights. Prior reviews commented on the traffic noise in the area, but we did not have a problem with this noise. We had an excellent stay in the Casita and would consider this location again the next time we stay in La Jolla."

  • Lovely

"We were very pleased when we walked into the apartment. Views of the ocean, a well decorated apartment with a most comfortable bed. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen if one wanted to cook. Von's is very close for whatever we need. As is CVS. After 5 days, the apartment continues to be a perfect spot for us. We love sitting outside in the evening and in the morning. The first day we walked to the Concour d'Elegance at Squibb park to look at the wonderful collection of antique, very special cars and in the evening walked back along the water. We have enjoyed the fish restaurant across the street, The Thai Restaurant and wanted you to know we went to your suggestion, Bernini's last night. What a sweet restaurant. Comfortable with delicious food. Coffee places are near and have great California fresh, easy food for lunch. We spent a day and a half in Balboa park and saw not even half the museums. An amazing place even if one doesn't want to go to a museum or the zoo. So easy to get to we could even do it again. The Contemporary Art Museum is only about 5 blocks. And just a bit further are many wonderful shops. The best is to come home have a glass of wine or put our feet up with a cup of coffee and listen to the ocean. For us, a lovely place with a great location. Just wanted you to know how much we appreciated your place before the rush to leave set in."

  • The lure of the ocean….

"What a wonderful house! The location is just magnificent. With a hectic schedule of Legoland and all things kid related, this house was a wonderful respite at the end of a busy day. Morning coffee on the balcony to watch the daily rituals of the locals - surfing, dog walking, jogging, strolling. A glass of wine to salute the sunsets. It was divine. We ventured down to the nearby beach that was so intimate, yet groovy. This part of La Jolla is so chilled that you couldn't help but melt into relaxation the moment you stepped foot inside the house. The house itself is large and with our party of six, we had plenty of room to retreat to peace and quiet. The house is well appointed, clean and nicely styled. But, above all else - the Bluewater Vacation Homes Team are responsive, friendly and professional. It was a seamless stay from top to bottom. And…La Jolla made an indelible mark on us all. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!"

  • Charming & Cozy

"We had the most amazing time at this home! Liza has created a welcoming and homey beach house that we absolutely loved. We had plenty of space with 3 bedrooms and lots of seating areas. The outdoor space in the backyard was our favorite-we took plenty of naps outside on the sectional! Having 2 full baths was perfect for cleaning up after our beach trips! For those who mentioned the claw foot tub and water going outside the tub -that was never an issue for us! Ensure the shower curtain is inside the tub and it's perfect! Lots of hot water which was wonderful! We loved keeping our windows open at night, the temperature was awesome and the breeze was perfect. The walk to the beach was quick and easy! Close enough for a walk but far enough away that we didn't have to deal with all the parking along the streets or noise from people walking to and from. There is a lot right around the house-grocery store, great restaurants and shops. Liza has a great kitchen in the house-complete with a crockpot! Which was great for taking care of dinner while we were exploring! I can't say enough how much we loved our week at this beachy home! Thank you Liza & Mike! We'll be back next year!"
