  • Fabulous family vacation home.

"Nancy's home is the absolutely perfect venue for a family vacation. We hosted our adult sons, their wives and five grandchildren, ages 3 months to nearly 9. The floor plan was perfect because it provided the family with the three youngest children a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite at one end of the house...good since the two youngest still awaken several times a night. The guest house was perfect for our other son and his family...and we were upstairs in the master...away from the chaos when we wanted to be. The yard and especially the pool provided a perfect place for family gatherings in the afternoon. The home is furnished very nicely as shown in the photos and the yard and other facilities are appropriately indicated. Nancy recommended a wonderful photographer who did a family portrait session with great patience...and she also gave our daughter-in-law the name of a baby equipment rental place. She was most responsive to our questions. Summary: we would rent her lovely home again."

  • Everything You Could Want In A Vacation Home- In Absolute Awe!

"This property is everything one could want in a vacation home! It has gorgeous views, spacious rooms, and every other little amenity you could need for a great weekend away. I had a large group of family over for a reunion and everyone was just in awe at the property. Everyone slept comfortably and enjoyed hanging out in the backyard and living area. It's minutes away from great restaurants, grocery stores, and the beach. Kyle and his family are extremely accommodating and responsive. For all the luxury, the house is vey reasonably priced as well. I would highly recommend staying here for any size group looking to have a relaxing and fun vacation! You will not be disappointed."

  • Great property in La Jolla!

"This 2 bdrm condo is in a very nice location. It is a very short block away from the ocean, about a 20-25 min walk from town and shopping, 20-25 min walk to red rock coffee shop(the best coffee) and 5-10 min walk from a good take out(promiscuous fork). We hardly drove anywhere except to explore furthur afield, i.e. San diego, La Jolla shores, UCSB, and the Torrey Pines reserve where there was some wonderful hiking and spectacular views. The owner of the condo and property manager were both available by phone if needed. Michael, the property manager had left me a message to inform me that the condo was ready early and we could move in before the arranged arrival time. He also checked in with us to make sure everything was fine at the beginning of our stay. When i did call Michael with a question, he returned my call promptly and it was a pleasure having such an attentive person to deal with. Karl the owner was also available if needed---- and I appreciated his returning the damage deposit the next day. There are times when I have stayed at other vrbo's and have had to enquire about the refund after a few weeks have passed and I have heard nothing from the owner. The condo is as portrayed, two bedrooms each with its own washroom. Beds are comfortable, condo is clean and nicely presented. There are bikes in the garage for use as well as laundry facilities. Although we had 3-4 days of rain during our stay, we were cozy in the condo and when it did clear for a while, we would go down to the water to watch the surf and beautiful sunsets. There is a lovely view of the water while sitting on the balcony too. Unfortunately, the weather was not too cooperative and we did not get to use the lovely private patio which is accessed from both bedrooms. This is where the bbq and patio table are--and if it had been warmer, it would be a great spot for a glass of wine, book, dinner etc. We would definitely return to this property but maybe not the first week of January."

  • Bears Win!

"A bunch of friends rented the whole house for a long weekend to go watch the Bears game. The house was perfect since it had 7 bedrooms and it was 7 couples..great location, close to shops, restaurants..we seriously didn't even move our rental car. Very clean and had pretty much anything you would need. Great view as well. Would definitely recommend this place! There was only ONE thing that was a bit annoying..the house has three parking spots and if you have more cars you need to park in the street because there is another home behind..which is perfectly fine, we were aware we only had those three spots, one being inside the garage..we however were tailgating the day of the game and needed to load the stuff before taking off so parked in the driveway to load up and the lady in the back immediately came out to tell us to move. Again that was fine we had no problem doing it, it was just the way she said it..she had an attitude as if we didn't do it or were bothering her. She was just rude. Besides her attitude towards us everything else was great!"
