  • Everything You Could Want In A Vacation Home- In Absolute Awe!

"This property is everything one could want in a vacation home! It has gorgeous views, spacious rooms, and every other little amenity you could need for a great weekend away. I had a large group of family over for a reunion and everyone was just in awe at the property. Everyone slept comfortably and enjoyed hanging out in the backyard and living area. It's minutes away from great restaurants, grocery stores, and the beach. Kyle and his family are extremely accommodating and responsive. For all the luxury, the house is vey reasonably priced as well. I would highly recommend staying here for any size group looking to have a relaxing and fun vacation! You will not be disappointed."

  • Great Property for Multi-Family Vacation

"This property is excellent for several families to vacation together and still have their own privacy. It was perfect for us, our children & spouces and our 9 grandchildren. The house is equipped with everything you might need. There are plenty of games and activities for the kids, including trampoline and playhouse. The yards and pool area are beautiful. The owner lives close by and was quick to fix anything that needed attention. The property is within a mile of the beach. However, it has a lot of fragile furniture and other items that can be easily broken. If you have small children, they will have to be watched very carefully or another property might be more suitable. Also, it is an older property and some things did not work properly. The pool heater did not work, although the owner tried very hard to fix it and did get the spa working so we could use it. The home heating system also did not work very well - some rooms were too hot and some were too cold. However, overall, it worked out well for our family vacation and created great memories."

  • Great family rental!

"This house was just as advertised. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. The inside of the house is clean and perfect for families to hang out together. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cooking pots/pans/etc. The outdoor patio was wonderful and we used the grill a few times! There is laundry in the garage, perfect for washing beach towels. And speaking of, there is everything you would need for the beach at the house: towels, umbrella, beach chairs, sand toys, beach games. There are even bikes to ride. I would 100% recommend this house to anyone. Convenient location!! 8-10 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute walk to close restaurants, 5 minute walk to CVS, 10 minute walk to grocery store, 5 minute walk to a local outdoor pool, 20 minute walk downtown. We never felt we needed a vehicle. It is a very quiet neighborhood.Take an Uber to/from the airport - approx $25 each way, half the price of a taxi. Would certainly book this house again when visiting La Jolla."

  • Quaint & Charming Cottage by the Sea

"This cosy cottage is located just 2 minutes walk from Windansea beach and a 15 minute walk into central La Jolla. The cottage was nicely decorated and well laid out and had all the comforts of home, to include a very well equipped kitchen. I especially enjoyed the little decorative touches and the diffusers made the interior smell good. We stayed with our 2 boys (ages 11 and 14) who slept on the sofa bed (true to the property description was king size and very comfortable). Despite the close proximity to other homes it was very quiet. There was an off road parking space and a private patio. The agent Kathleen was there to greet us when we arrived and provide additional information about the area. The Cottage was very clean, there were plenty of towels, and all kitchen basics were provided. Especially loved that there were beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards provided which made our time on the beach much more enjoyable and is so very helpful when travelling from out of state. My only critic was that the bedroom has 2 skylights that do not have any window coverings (blinds) consequently as soon as the sun is up (around 6 am) the room is flooded with light, this is great if you are an early riser but not so much fun if you are trying to sleep in. I was able to resolve this with some eye shades but some kind of window covering would be ideal. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again."
